    We have two apple trees and when my lil niece saw this video, she said, Nana can I go and pick some apples? I said, sure, why? She politely said, cause we are making apple crisp to go with dinner tonight. It warms my heart that she loves cooking so much! We enjoy your recipes. So, we made this today and it came out delish! Sooo...good! I am definitely going to invest in that apple peeler.

    Hello Natasha, I can't wait to access this recipe. I made three apple pies for the first time this past weekend and followed your recipe. They were so delicious, I got so many compliments, I'm in awe. I looked at many recipes at first, and found yours to be very easy to follow, so I chose it. I even made two with the strips at the top and the third one plain. They were neat and beautiful. Thank you so much.

    I just tried this recipe and it is without a doubt the most wonderful apple crisp I have ever eaten. Over time (60 years) I have tried a lot of apple crisps at pot luck dinners , picnics, and family reunions. I have tried several recipes and none of them seemed to be what I thought they could be. Something always seemed to be missing. However, this recipe is everything that I hoped apple crisp could be and should be, it is marvelous. The topping is crunchy and just plain perfect! OK, I doubled up on the cinnamon, but that is all. Thank you for sharing with us!

    • @Natashaskitchen
      @Natashaskitchen  Год назад +1

      Welcome! Happy to have you here. I have a peach recipe here: natashaskitchen.com/peach-crisp-recipe/
      You can find many more recipes on my website directly.
      Regarding the pears, I haven’t tested that, here’s what one of my readers wrote: “! I did make this with both pears and apples. I sliced the apples as directed in the recipe. I used very firm pears, sliced them twice as thick and tossed them in Wondra flour. I let them stand a few minutes so the flour would coat them before assembling the filling. And I juiced a tangerine as well as added some tangerine zest. It was freaking awesome! Texture was as I would expect for an apple crisp! Fabulous topping. Went over well for a Christmas party dessert” I hope it helps

    Hi Natasha, I am making this apple crisp this week and was just checking on the amount of cinnamon that goes in with the apple mixture. Is it 1 1/2 tsp or 1/2 tsp? The ingredients below and what you said on the video were different. Thank you. 😁

    I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I love dutch apple pie. The topping looks similar. Can't wait to try this. If I'm cutting apples by hand, do they have to be that thin?
