I am a long time piano player but trying my hand at dueling piano gigs. Working on stronger left hand. Videos showing left hand patterns to drive rhythm of popular dueling piano songs might be cool. I will watch some more of your videos to seek tips. Thank you, Tom.

Thanks so much for giving these left hand grooves. I have been like two years self learning. Trying to make my left hand do something on her own was like starting to write or to draw again from scratch. I have made good progress improvising with the right hand but I'm stuck in the usual rock 'n' roll patterns with the left hand. I even tried to figure out patterns using 7ths but it came out really poor. So your video really means a lot. Glad to be a subscriber!

I've been coming back to this often since it's a useful video. But as someone who is colour blind, I find it difficult to see the dark blue on the black keys. Could you start using a bright yellow which would make it easier to see the contrast?

I appreciate your feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that the dark blue on the black keys is difficult to see. I'll do my best to make sure that the colors I use are more visible for viewers with color blindness in the future. Thanks for bringing this to my attention

@@contemporaryschoolofpiano That would be great. I can't see it so well either. Maybe, if the digital representation of the keyboard would be bigger, that would already be a solution. The window is very small. Cheers.
