Yah, im a left hand person and self taught , im ok i like to think . I can make the piano sing like a harp , but theres so much to absorb still . Thanks this vid gives me a new approach,, yah, good stuff . Thanks
Absolutely amazing video, you showed this pattern in another video and have been playing with it since. I find it difficult using in other pieces than 3/4. Is there similar possibility for 4/4, other letting it sustain out?
Yes of course. But with youtube videos I can't really "go off on one" so to speak. Theres a lot you can do. I recoomend playing with rhythm and seeing what you come up with. Then use something SUPER simple in the right hand so its not over complicated as you tweak and find what works for you.
Use it as an exercise to increase finger span. Also you can turn the wrist into the motion to extent your reach without needing to span the whole octave+
I find this lessons to fast , even though many times stopped and played at slow speed. I still couldn't put together, if you were to count one and 2 and , do you play the right hand on beat 2 or beat and ? At 6:29.
I LOVE this left hand pattern. Use it to just enter a musical flow. 🎶

Sounds good.
My hand is only big enough to reach an octave and a step, though (C-D, for instance).
Can I still do this figure?
Yes. Roll into the span. i think I talk about that. if not type "creative piano academy finger span" into youtube.
I personally think this is a best exercise
Love it!
Can I have the sheet in ABCD?
"my juice flowing" say no more !
Where did you gone?
working on my membership content and piano courses. I've missed youtube though. So i'll posting a lot more often
Isn’t this called open chord?
This is piano playing for spider fingers!
