Three months update: this is actually huge for my playing. I now play chords more accurately, my fingers fly on riffs and I am much looser on scales and fingerpicking. This was really good. Thank you.
Mr. Blackmore is AWESOME wait untill you learn some of his other lessons. I finally learned Little Wing the guy is a breakthrough guitar instructor plus he is very cool on his delivery. Thanks Lee 😂❤
Great five minute lesson. I have recently determined that my lack of structured practice has led to a failure of results so I have committed to having a structured practice routine. Thanks again.
Appreciate this video! I've only been playing for almost a year now and with a 14 year old in sports, a new baby and a full time job in sales I don't have as much time to practice as I want, quick drills like this are just what I need! Thanks for the help!
You are by far one of the best tutors. Complete novice here and i manage ( after plenty of rewinding 😅) to play along with you on most videos. Top man!
This is good! I have another teacher’s 5-minute practice routine I use also…. And it has NOTHING in common with this one. And what does that tell us? It tells us that this is VERY USEFUL. Now, it means the other one is also, which tells us that having 2 or 3 of these excellent 5-minute trainers is really important. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sometimes the universe really delivers, ya know? I just started practicing again and I’ve been fixed on the idea of taking a fitness approach this time, as in programming a series of specific exercises daily, and I was very much dreading figuring out what exercises to program but now that’s not a concern (or excuse) anymore. Time to get my fingers shredded, thank you so much for putting this together for us!
Once again Mr. Blackmore you have come up with a back to the basics lesson we all need to be reminded sometimes we need to go back to the basics. Great lesson. 😂❤
I totally got this vid. This helped me out so much. Especially on fingers picking, which I never really wanted to do. It's so pretty though. I love it. Thank you.
This video popped up on my Google news feed. I like it! There are some handy warm-up routines here. I’m definitely going to see about adding these ideas/techniques into my daily/weekly practice routine. Thanks.
Wicked...I'll give it a go tomorrow...I noodle far too much without positive results...Sounds like a great idea to improve my skills....Many thanks for sharing 👍
You're The Boss!! Always a pleasure to watch and get inspired to learn. It's been a few months since I've played my guitar. So this update couldn't have come at a better time. Cheers! 👍🏻👌🏻
So that advert that played before I watched this told me that you can't learn guitar by watching RUclips. Well that advert has not met me who learned everything I know watching RUclips videos
@@leejohnblackmoremusic i play every day 2 to 8 hours i'am addicted know . i'm 2 years retired before i was a truck driver in Europe. I know the neck of the guitar very well know and know i create fast progress hooray for youtube. Good luck and thank you so much ps: i have 5 guitars 1 classic, 3 electric and 1 base 🙂🎼🎵🎸🎶🎸🎵
@@leejohnblackmoremusic if you and I were in a blind audition, I am very confident the judges and audience would select your "no talent" playing over mine every day.
Love it. I spent a fair bit of time doing classical guitar-style drills, but I'm wondering if it's better to just directly practice the stuff you want to play. If you want to master fingerpicking, just do that. Same for chord etc.
Thank you Lee for your guitar content, it's been 2 years since I've started playing guitar and I stumbled on your video, to learn pentatonic scale and since then, been watching your videos and learning a lot from you. Keep on rocking on!!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
thanks a lot for this, i've recently started to watch your channel and all those metal tutorials you got great work keep up the good work!! really love to play those please keep making those
This video came at a good time! It was exactly what I was looking for, all in one video! Thanks Lee, I'm going to follow a routine with these lessons. Greetings from Brazil!
There's always something interesting from you, Lee. A few of those exercises I thought up on my own. I'd like to jump into all of them. Thank you for another helpful lesson! 👍👍👍
Thank you so much, i was looking for an routine to practice the last days :D i love your videos, as a beginner, the way you teach it's really really really helpful! Loved the tips too!!
Hey Lee if you ever tv time I would love to see some of your favorite fills while playing open chords.. I just don’t see a lot of those type videos on YT.. Either way your still the man
I usually play by myself and I hv trouble finding good phrases to connect Rythum strumming.. almost like a g-run in a bluegrass tune.. Where you will be strumming and then a little lead lick into another chord.. Sorry I’m hving a rough time describing what’s in my head…. Thx for the reply!!
