Good video to watch and to see how you have to adapt to radio work in different countries. Even though one should not read back the “report….”, in Southern Africa it is a good idea to avoid misunderstandings.
I have a question, would it be safer to put the propeller lever forwards to ensure that the "off governor" state is reached? If we had a very high headwind and the propellers were on the governors, beta and reverse may not be engaged? This is what the RVS NOT READY amber warning is for, on smaller an older KA models, this could be a problem because of the higher propeller speeds. Is not pushing the prop levers forwards standard operating procedure in this model?
In older King Airs you can land in any propeller RPM. In the 350m as a transport category aircraft, you have to land with props forward. This ensures dingle enge performance data on a go around, if needed. If yu land with less than full forward props, the reverse would still work, but there might be some surging on the props. Food practice is to push props forward after landing. An example here: ruclips.net/video/-_Swq9M4Hwk/видео.htmlsi=fTpkT4l6tvj7vKi-&t=1310 Have you subscribed to my channel? Please do so and tell your friends, spouse and kids also... 🙂 Happy Landings, Capt. Guido
Yes you still have to touch the props. Take off is full forward at 1700rpm. In climb you reduce to 1,600 snd then in cruise 1,500. If reverse is needed after landing you push the props to full forward. Happy Landings, Capt. Guido
Thank you Dave. Unless you need prop reverse on short runways, it is just a (may be a bad) habit. important is to push the props forward on landing and on a possible go around. Happy Landings, Capt. Guido
That is correct. Touchscreen on the ProLne Fusion. You still have 2 FMS for input with keys. Another difference ist the pressurization controller is automatic now. The cabin altitude and cabin VSI gauges are integrated in the PFD as ist the flap indicator. Other than this - it is a King Air. That makes it so easy to fly. Happy Landings, Capt. Guido

Did I understand correctly that apart from shut down or feather, there is no need to touch the prop controls?
Yes you still have to touch the props.
Take off is full forward at 1700rpm. In climb you reduce to 1,600 snd then in cruise 1,500.
If reverse is needed after landing you push the props to full forward.

Great amazing content like always…….
Wouldn’t mind being a safety pilot on one of your flights🤗
Thank you!

Capt. Guido
Hi Guido, as usual so professional and calm. Why did you land with props set half way and not fully forward (fine)? Thanks and safe travells
Thank you Dave.
Unless you need prop reverse on short runways, it is just a (may be a bad) habit. important is to push the props forward on landing and on a possible go around.

Capt. Guido
Wow! The Flight Guidance Panel is still the same as the King Air 350. Only difference i noticed in your video so far is the screens. It's touchscreen.
