  • In this video I'm trying grow lights for the first time! It's a big deal for me because I've been growing my plant collection in natural light for years and never thought I'd ever have the need for grow lights.
Thank you so much for supporting my channel. I love how you all have been able to follow along in this planty journey with me! Stay tuned for updates.
    Also, thank you ‪@soltech_solutions‬!

I love the aesthetics of the Soltech lights. So easy on the eyes.

Yes! I looked at some other grow light companies and while I liked some of them, Soltech’s designs fit my aesthetic a lot better. My father is an architect with a focus on modern design (He renovated the building I’m in) and he really liked them. I told him he should get one for their house! 😄

I’m in New Jersey where the days are short in the winter months and without grow lights my plants would seriously suffer by spring. I have grow lights all over and they make a huge difference. Most of mine are by Barrina and they are not prohibitively costly.
    Your plants are breathtaking!

You are going to be so much happier. To be honest, I’m shocked at how well you’ve done without them for so long. You must have glorious windows in your home 😂

I do have really good natural light! So much light, in fact, that I always felt like it would be wasteful to add supplemental light! 😅
Now, since I got grow lights I’m already making plans for spring 2024. It’s going to be my best growing year! 😂

I love when my plants grow upwards not side ways so grow lights have really helped

Loved that you did this in the form of a 2 month update and with specific goals in mind. Feels less like a product showcase and more like seeing you problem solving 😊

I’m going to plan for these. This will eliminate having so many lights. Also the way you have your plants arranged is beautiful!

This is amazing! Grow lights have helped my plants during winter (where we can experience complete darkness). I ALWAYS recommend grow lights

They’ve come in handy this winter. We’ve had so many dark and gloomy days here in New Orleans. I’m so glad the days are finally getting longer again!

I love my grow lights. During the darkness of winter, they are like sunshine. 🌞 Plus, my plants love them! 🥰

I totally agree! I’m sooo late to the grow light game! I didn’t know just how helpful they’d be! ☺️

I love grow lights!!! My room is so dark so I use so many grow lights!!

I’m trying not to go grow light crazy now! This room gets extremely hot in the summer and I can’t completely close all the curtains because then I wouldn’t get enough light. I actually think my energy bill might DECREASE this summer. With AC that room has gotten to 87 degrees! 😅

I know you share your plants with your neighbor but do you sale cuttings as well? I just love your plants.

You need to be a professional plant consultant. I have been trying to grow velvet leaf anthuriums and the more exotic alocasias and... they've all been decimated by spidermites and thrips along with my inconsistent care.

Actually, regular lights and light bulbs do a good job as well in providing additional light to plants and helping them grow. I use a combination of both regular and grow lights at home (not Soltech!) and don't notice a huge difference between the two in performance.

sad that they're insanely overpriced. there's equally as good products out there for less than half the price

Issue with Soltech is they sell a fairytale of how much better they do light. I was given a pendant light for Christmas years back. Its a light, decorative, and bright. I have other grow lights that cost me 80% less that i purchssed on Amazon, same build quality, same light. Much less money. Pure cash grab. All lights create light. My plants don't know the difference. Cannot recommend!

Soltech Lights are very expensive for the average person. Let's not touch on the increased utility bill. Nice lights though🪴

I believe when the expense matches the product’s quality, the price is fair. With that said, I do understand that not everyone is in a position to make such purchases. Thanks for sharing! 😊

It could be a really interesting experiment if you have any regular light source to put on top of the Adensonii and see what happens?

@@Wanderlust2602I hope she sees this comments and does the experiment for ppl like us. And those who wouldn’t wanna spent their whole pocket for the soltech.
