Is it possible to set the home screen AND the new tab to open to Google? (Or is it just one or the other?) Ps thank you for this-you’re the only one I’ve found that explains this properly!
Thank you for sharing, i had headache with Microsoft edge as it's new t9 have my home page but f8nally your video teaches me how to fix it. Millions thanks

something weird if you want to keep old session and you want to change the start page, it's not possible, they have a strange way to see some trivials thing talking about user experience, i don't need a home button, i only want to change the start page and keep my old session when i come back to the browser
Would you mind expanding a bit? How do I set four tabs to open to various web pages, when I click the Home button? What character/space is used to separate the URLs? Thanks.
To add more pages just click Add a new page then put in the page then click Add a new page again and put in the next page, and keep going till you have all the pages you need.
@@cwtek1 I have it already Chris. Settings/Start, Home and New Tabs In the Home Button box, there is no "Add" the lower box for entering the URL. I think you are looking at the "When Edge Starts" box, and it works fine with multiple URL's. Its settings for using the little house "Home" button in the top navigation that won't allow but one URL. Follow?

i knew all this and i still haven't resolved this annoying issue. Im not trying to find out how to change the home page. Im trying to find out how when you open a new tab it opens your homepage instead of that annoying screen

It's one or the other I'm afraid.

@@cwtek1 My Edge (with all updates complete) doesn't have that option.
@@T_210 Please make sure you have the latest version of Edge you can download from here www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge

No problem! Happy to help!
These options don't show for me. I haven't had a real home page in years :(
Are you sure you are running Edge.

This video is to set start pages and home pages, at present I do not think there is a way to set the new tab pages in Edge.
@@cwtek1 apparently you got to get another extension.
@@hithere3897 I have not heard of that, which extension?
@@cwtek1 theres a few but one example is new tab redirect
@@hithere3897 I will see if I can find that and check it out.
thank you

This is driving me crazy it keeps opening up the microsoft engine on start up
I am working on a video which should hopefully solve this problem, I am hoping to get this ready for release on 25th March.
@@cwtek1 thank you, it seems to have resolved itself. I restarted the computer and shortly after i noticed it started working
Download "new google tab" extension for edge , it worked for me
Still defaults to Microsoft on startup.
Not sure why this is but if anyone reading this knows please feel free to post.
@@cwtek1 Yes it still defaults to Microsoft by default.
