For god's sake dude, a 10 minute video for about 30 seconds worth of instructions. There are good tutorials and then there's beyond excessive. I know the youtube algorithm favors 10 minute videos but you don't have to make everybody suffer through it
To have to go through all of this Nonsense is the Exact reason I Hate, Despise, Detest Microsoft!!! All of their goals are towards becoming a Monopoly, and Not user experience. They recently blocked my Windows 10 and now I'm forced to either buy a new Windows or use this garbage Edge. "Planned obsolesce" should be illegal!

Thank you very much! I'm so dumbfounded that Microsoft disabled changing the new tab page in edge. When chromium edge first released it was easily the best web browser out there but slowly Microsoft has been doing everything they can to ruin it by adding a bunch of junk and restrictions.🤦

Wow - I can't believe how complicated MS make this, should be a simple setting in Edge options. Anyway - I've set up the extension and it's working - thanks. As other have mentioned the MS default page is full of crap - and favours sensationalised 'so called' news and has a real bias. Anyway - glad to be rid of it.
Thank you so much! I actually had this Extension and previously used it - but following these instructions I discovered that Microsoft had turned off the extension. Now that I've switched it back on all is working as it should!!

You are my hero! My son convinced me to use Edge over Chrome but I effing hate having Bing for new tab page since I waste time clicking on articles that are mostly click bait or pointless.
I can't say thank you enough. I will refrain from saying my feelings about the default homepage and how difficult they make it to get away from it. These instructions are clear, to the point, and as of right now (March 11th 2024) it still works. Liked and Subbed !

This is a model tutorial. I can't believe how lousy most tutorials are: too fast and too unclear, leaving me always with 'what, what, where are you, what was that??'. Your proper speaking speed, the use of the magnifier, the clear statements, etc. are exactly perfect. When receiving new information, our working memory can only process so much before moving on and this requires the right timing and pace. Thank you very much.
