I know there are certain aspects of this build you aren't totally happy with, but from an outside perspective let me tell you, you're doing a great job, and this work of art is coming together nicely. I'm impressed! 🙂 Thank you for sharing.

Hi and thanks for the compliment. Made my day! I think it should look good when all done; I hope so anyway. 😊

@@splashbakermodelbuilding I have a feeling it'll look amazing. It's really inspiring for we amateur builders. 🙂

Looking good so far, very fiddly.

Thank you! It just seems Pocher made some parts more difficult than necessary, but I'll get there (I hope)! Thanks for watching.

It looks like the bolts/screws were a challenge. What EXTRA tools would you recommend??

Hi: Good screwdrivers and a tap set is really all you need. Tapping the holes first really makes it a difference although it is time consuming. I used to skip the tapping and just use a little oil until I had a screw break off, some of the screws are quite fragile and it's a pain to rectify.

What is the Pump Spray adhesive you are using please?

Hi: The spray is BSI Insta-Set Accelerator to instantly cure the BSI super glue I am using. It works especially well on metal parts IMHO. Thanks for asking! 😊

What did you use for glue?

LG

I just received my lotus today and have started working on it. The kit looks very nice, but the screw holes, what a piece of crap. I am now on page 8 and I think I have drilled 80% of the screw holes bigger (0.2mm bigger) and deeper. I have now ordered a thread cutter so that I can cut threads for all the screws.
Bye the way some great videos you make.

Thank you and thanks for watching! 😊 I try to avoid tapping if possible, but if a screw is being fussy and a little oil won't work; then I'll tap. It does make life easier and having a screw break is a major pain of course. Hope your build goes well! Keep me posted.
