I started making big guy short boards because as I got older I developed into a big guy. I was 135 lbs in high school riding potato chip boards. Now Im far over 220 lbs. I go with 3" thick, 21"+ wide but in a shortboard. Dont be scared to go wider and thicker. If you are over 200 lbs you have the weight to throw it around. I also prefer epoxy.
