Oh my gosh, this makes me so happy! I have been watching your channel for years and this is my hometown and where I still live. So glad you got to see our beautiful valley. I am a regular at The Pink House and know the owners and staff quite well along with Cafe Girasole. My friend Mary is one of our local wild horse photographers and she talks about blue and the gang all the time, she is also friends with J.T.. I grew up watching the glider planes and know them well. The Bentley distillery is beautiful and they actually used to be old abounded flour mills for years when I was growing up and were always spooky and a little mystery, they only updated it a few years ago. The Bentley family owns a lot of the valley and do a lot of charity work in the community. I am also friends with one of the Dangberg daughters and know the ranch. I have grown up here, and have traveled, but want to see more of the world. But this made me appreciate my town even more. We are a friendly town, and there is usually some event going on. I work in Real Estate, so I see lots around here. If you are ever in town again, I would love to meet you.

Quick update: Bently Heritage distillery closed late Feb. / early March of 2022. Having grown up in Gardnerville, it was interesting to watch what others from outside the area gravitate towards when they visit. I “soared” over the valley in the ‘80s, enjoying every minute. I’d recommend a hot-air balloon flight as well - another way to see the expanse of the valley. There are many other fine eating establishments with deep ties to the area - as well as some relatively newer choices - don’t hesitate to try them! Cheers!

Actually, many people confuse Carson valley with Carson city. Carson city is NOT in Carson valley believe it or not. The dummies here will argue it until they’re blue in the face, but up in the air (I’m a pilot) it’s all one valley from Carson to minden/gville

I was born and raised in Gardnerville/Minden. I lived with my dad on Waterloo lane. My happiest memories are of this valley. Jobs Peak is my monument. Funny, I actually live in WA state now too. Thanks for visiting my home town. I sure miss it.

I loved this vid. I just came across your channel. Love the filming and editing. Great job, honestly. I need to visit Carson Valley. I go snowboarding often in south Tahoe, but I must visit this area. Its looks amazing. Especially with the wild horse visits, hiking and mountain biking. Al the best and keep safe!

Carson valley is beautiful! Used to live in Reno and we went all the time.
We live over the mountain from Carson Valley and it is one of our several times a year visits. Genoa is fantastic, we love Virginia City, and just the whole ambiance of the area. Great video, new subscriber.
