The way the AI sends literal *fleets* of Missionaries/Apostles at a time, I always imagine they're blasting one song or another on their approach.

Olympics have been in Italy: 1956 Winter (Cortina d'Ampezzo), 1960 Summer (Rome), 2006 Winter (Torino). They will be in Italy again in the 2026 Winter Olympics (Milano Cortina). (They would have been in Cortina d'Ampezzo in the 1944 Winter Olympics, but those were cancelled due to WWII.)
And now I want to see an Olympic event in Florence just for that reason.

For those who don't know, the lyrics come from a poem by Leonardo da Vinci about flight. I can't imagine a more appropriate theme for this game, which is about the development of civilizations over great periods of time.

It's kind of cool how each Civ theme represents a different type of win condition in-game. Baba Yetu is about the religious victory and Sogno di Volare is about the science victory.

I am in awe of the skill and work that went into this production. It is absolutely amazing. It captures both the joy and humanity that Christopher Tin put into this peice. @@illman8876 Baba Yetu is a very beautiful song, don't get me wrong, and I also love that one, but it's the Lord's prayer, whereas Sogno Di Volare is, in my opinion, more universal and aspirational. I find the message and tone of Sogno Di Volare to be a lot more inspiring.
