Loving it so far Kym! I just wanted to say I really liked when you "speed-up" the video when you were opening the test mattress, and the work just streaks on by! It let's you show the work but doesn't drag on and waste time. 👍
Yay! Thank you! I remember early on in my videos where I would film 15 minutes driving down a road and my mom said to me, "Ya gotta stop that. It's boring as hell." LOL! I love vids at 800mph. Thanks so much!!!! 💙
Day 11 went well! Always like it when you show us how you make something yourself. And, the mattress looks good, too. It will be nice to have an extra one with you.👍
Yes! Thank you! If I can save money, I will try to do it myself. It's just so hard, because I don't understand the math part of figuring out things. And how to use a saw. lol
That’s a good looking mattress. When I was sleeping in my car, I added a 1” thick yoga Matt under my camping mattress. Helped tremendously! But I am cheating… taking the memory foam mattress from my bedroom (1 yr old) and cutting it to fit for my van bed.
Oh, that's awesome. Not cheating!!!! Sleep is so important in the van. Food first. Sleep second. If you can't sleep, it's horrible. I think doubling up may help me, but I'm afraid I'll slide off with two. LOL
@@OutonaLimbwithKym lol…. I can hear the thunk now! But seriously, get 2 flat bungees and bungee them together, like under your pillow and around your knees.
Definitely one of the better mattress pads. I'm actually very happy that I have two good ones now. I'm always worried I'll puncture one while out on the road. lol
That is so cute. And yes - you will meet everyone!!! It took me two years to get my van, and I survived in an SUV. You can do it, too!!! Use what ya got!!!!!!
Aw, another Stella. I made mine for my SUV and they kept falling. The ones I'm doing now will have magnets, so hopefully, they'll stay up. I loved my Saturn!!!!
There are videos on how to best achieve your goals with window covers, scientifically what works best. IF goal is keeping sunlight out, or..if keeping heat out, or heat in. Interestingly, comparison of purchased windows covers really did not test out well actually maintaining an efficient and comfortable temp inside the vehicle as they advertise. FYI: Learning the basics in science of heat transfer helps tremendously in designing your window covers. Hopefully the two mattresses together will give you the rest you need. THANKS for sharing.
Thank you for the info on window coverings. I'm really enjoying learning as I go along. I'm trying to make sure I'm doing things correctly. Luckily, winter in Florida isn't too bad, so I think I'll be okay. Our bad month is in January! I'll make sure I have an electric blanket. But . . . I'm taking a trip out west, so I may need better insulation.
Mattress does look great. I bet that’s memory foam in it that keeps ‘your sitting in dent’. Looking forward to seeing you use that spider catcher. Eek! Does weather tech make the window coverings for the van? Love the curtains too though. Shame you can’t hang that net loft organizer somewhere. I know how much it was used and so useful in the suv. 💕🚐
@@OutonaLimbwithKym You’re so welcome Kym and the beautiful stellllaaaaa oh I am working so hard to get me my van 🚐 to start traveling GOD BE MY HELPER IN 2025
Oh, how I dislike making templates! Mine never turn out well. I'll be interested in what materials you use. I used reflectix taped onto coroplast, then white wood grain wallpaper. They look nice, but the fit was such a challenge.
I got mine yesterday and named her Starla! She’s blueish grayish ❤ took the seats out already - mine is a passenger wagon lwb 2022. My hands are sore as hell today - but she’s naked inside now😂

@OutonaLimbwithKym i had high hopes for that new one because it just looked like it was gonna be awesome. Just one piece, no head piece lines etc.
Love me some Kym I can’t wait to get my van to travel and meet you and Jen Lulu and a few more fabulous ladies

I had a car named Stella once upon a time, a Saturn wagon. Window coverings for my van have been a disaster!

Looking very nice and comfy Kym! 💞
Thank you! 🤗

I would try the 2 together. You should have wonderful sleeps
I just put them both together yesterday and YES - it's awesome!
Nice job starting the window coverings, I need a sewing machine, not sure I remember how to use one😅😅
You can do it! I've never used one. I've never sewn a button on a shirt before. My mom just got out her sewing machine!!! IT'S SEW TIME!
😘🤩🤩😍🥰😊😊
💙💙💙💙😁😁😁😁
Love the name STELLLLLAAAA ❤
Thank you so much!!! It makes me laugh.
The mattress looks just like an Exped, but $100 cheaper. I wonder how they compare?
I have the exped, I was wondering the same thing.
Wow. I'll have to check that out. I was unfamiliar with the brands. I need to research more!!!

I am the 1st here welcome STELLLLLLLLAAAAAA
Yeah!!!! If she could thank you, she would, but she can't, cause she's a van - but I can - THANK YOU! 💙😁
