P.Flix....I continously thank you for the great movies you share. You are the best! I just discovered the Dr. Christian series and it really hits home. I work maintenance for the Housing Authority of Corpus Christi in TX. It is a very hard job, and many times a thankless job. But it's a job I'll never quit! Helping others needs to become the new pandemic. There was (and still is) a carpenter 2000 years ago that put it simple......"Do good for others".

They really got a lot of mileage out of Bill Lava's beautiful opening title music , which was also used as the theme for Ed Wood's "Glen Or Glenda" and the "Lassie" TV series.
Really enjoyed watching Humanity at work in Dr. Christians movies. I wish in our world today there were more people like this selfless man. 7/24/2019.

Tom Neal, the actor who plays the older brother (Dave)from the shanty town reminds me of a young Kurt Russell maybe with a bit of Dean Cain thrown in 😉

He’s just like my old dr and was. There for us / family \ all the time but I’m waiting since Friday for help with so much pain and new thing they’ve never heard of before just see nurses and am bed ridden .

Please remember a remarkable woman, Sara J.Baker who fought against this mindset and promoted preventative health programs for poor neighboroughs in NYC - since before WWI until WW2- , focusing on child health: she is credited of saving 90,000 children, not less.

Touching movie. People doing what they could to bring the epidemic to a halt and help recovery of the sick.
Watching that graph steadily rising as the epidemic raged, brought to mind the coronavirus we're facing. Unfortunately we don't have a vaccine for it nor can we quarantine all the victims into one area. We can't even get enough people to wear masks to avoid the possibility of spreading it or catching it! And too many won't avoid closer contact with others as much as possible. God help us! 🙏
The human body learns to handle with a strange virus. Don't worry. Mankind survived a lot already.

0:00 Seen that beeping RKO radio tower intro hundreds of times over the decades and finally here on RUclips played it back at 0.25 speed to figure if it said anything intelligible. Should not have been surprised to hear Morse Code for each letter of AN RKO RADIO PICTURE as the letters rapidly appear on the screen. Starts and ends with a series of V's (di-di-di-dah). Yes I now realize I could just Google RKO MORSE for that answer.

It never ceases to shock me when I see children be exposed as in the little girls bare butt showing through her open pj's flap at 19:00 and a little later, evil is everywhere! God help all the child actors who enter this realm of entertainment. The lust of some sicken me. I certainly have enjoyed this series minus this shot and dresses much too short for their age!

It's only in more recent times that people, with god knows what going in in their heads, see children's bare bottoms as "objectified, disrespected, sociopolitically demoted and molested".
I'd look to my own upbringing if I was you. It's weird to see pre-pubescent children in those terms. Weird....and creepy.
Agree on length of dress but that is exactly how ALL little girls were dressed in that time. It was never seen as indecency nor inappropriate. I was dressed this and was not from a poor family but Very wealthy. As far as a bit of bare bottom, did you never see the drawing of the little girls swimming suit bottom being pulled down to reveal a very pale bottom in the Copper Tone suntan lotions? They've been around for decades. Nothing nasty except in some warped mind.
And a little dog was pulling the suit bottom down! It is an innocent cute drawing.
