Absolutely love Cary Grant. His facial expressions, voice and comedic timing are the best ever in the business. Such a hidden gem. Thanks for the download.
Hidden gem? He was a big movie star. Or do you mean this film is tge hidden gem?
A nice feel good movie. We need more movies like this one.
we have moved so far from civilized and elegance.
Cary Grant--definitely one of my favorites...
Ya, he is my favourite too. What a gentleman!
Cary Grant was wonderful ❤️. Love the guy. I want one just like him. 🥰
What an excellent early film with a very young Cary Grant! Not quite the leading man & household name he would
soon become...but,here he shows definite potential! His perfect comic-timing,his inner pathos,etc...he showed his range from the dramatic to comic even back then! A great cinematic treat!
what a lovely film showing the better side of human nature, hes brilliant
Cary Grant was a wonderful actor on and off screen…… man had talent and was very charming with gorgeous good looks…. ladies loved him
EDITH SYMMANS yeah ladies loved him before they
found out he was gay
EDITH SYMMANS yeah ladies loved him before they
found out he was gay
+Donnellon Virginie look up hi wifes, he was not gay, Rock Hudson was Gay Cary was not and if he was he was still a great actor
Dana....you would be surprised just how many stars had bi-sexual liaisons including Paul Newman, Tyrone Power and also John Wayne. Many, many more than what you realize. And if they were not bi, they had numerous affairs or were cross dressers. The very reason why that type of person is attracted to that profession. Sodomy is rampant in Hollywood....always has been.
@@donnellonvirginie4820 there is no such thing as gay! Only men and women. I will accept no argument.
Thank you VERY much for posting and sharing this great film!!!! One of Grant's jewels that is not often looked at!
My first time watching this film, I really enjoyed it, I love Cary Grant and loved the storyline - Thanks for uploading it
One of the best moral tales ever.
Terrific film I loved every minute, shame these days they have lost the ability to make films of such quality and the great Cary Grant. I also echo GodsChild's sentiment about modern day rich greedy gets.
Thank you so much! I only watch classics ; they are the best. I love the music from that period! Magnifico!
Cary Grant is one of the extraordinary actresses, most of his movies is classics.Thank you very much for posting this movie.its a delight to watch his movies .
Archibald Alexander Leach AKA Cary Grant was born in Bristol, England don't you know. I was born just a few miles away from the first house he lived in but of course I don't like to brag about it ;)
+meandmymouth
You're funny! No, no, one wouldn't want to act that whey :) would they?
Have a happy!
+meandmymouth Good Info. Thanks! I also heard that he changed his name to Cary Grant so he'd have the same initials(CG) as the king (Clark Gable) little did he know he'd be a king himself one day! :D as the word of airplane the movie "irony can be ironic sometimes) :D
+matey Betoche The rumour I read that he adopted the name Carey because he once used to work in a music hall in Carey's Lane off Old Market Street in Bristol sadly no longer there. You pays your money I guess :-)
You both, are fun to read. Thanks for your information. I could go on way too long about him ~ ~ ~ A.A.L. ~ ~ ~ ~ as he's ever been a favorite to me!
No actor had the charm and appeal of Cary Grant. He kept it all in perspective; though, as he (AAL) was quoted as having stated: "Even I wish I was Cary Grant!"
Very cute movie! Thank you so much! Love Cary Grant!
May everybody's life have a happy end...
Thank you.
So, why isn't this a known film of Cary Grant? It's Delightful.
Thanks again to Manic Movies for this upload & time!
Oh my goodness, where is my Ernest Bliss?!
It's really a beautiful movie. Thank you very much for uploading!
Cary Grant was an amazing actor, no matter what the roll. You forget he's Cary Grant and believe everything he says and does. How many actors can you say that about?
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
Lovely movie, and one I hadn't seen before. :)
I love that song they play in the cafe.
Thank you - Cary Grant's everyone's wish.
Cary Grant was a classy guy onscreen and off. And was there ever a handsomer man?
Another lovely movie from Mrs TJ . Thank you !
Thanks so very much I appreciate it…
Kind of "Sullivan's Travels" premise, very sweet, a little corny, yes, but I love how he took care of everyone who helped him out along the way.
One of the best screwball comedies Grant made is "The Awful Truth," with Irene Dunne. He made a few movies with her, like "Penny Serenade," a bit of a sad one. He never made a bad movie. "The Philadelphia Story" with Katherine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart are fabulous. He was gifted, but never got enough roles showing off his diverse acting skills. Genius.
Wow, such a jewel of a story and to think I put off watching it for so long. Thank you for the upload, wish more people were like this in the world (I know a overused clique yet true)
Thank you for posting!
These are great! Thank you!
just think it is written ,in 1935 they had a poll of the most popular movie stars of the screen.cary grant received less than one percent of the votes.in 1945 he was in the top ten and through the 50s and 60s grant was still going strong.
Good old love story are the best.
I have seen most of Cary Grants films but I had never even heard of this one. Well worth watching and has such a lovely message. October 2020 stay safe and healthy everyone and happy viewing !♥️🤗🎬
A forever enjoyable movie to watch!
That is story, great movie.
very nice ...thank you
Enjoyable little movie.
Peace
A very pure, innocent and enjoyable film kicked to death by the treacherous steel toe-capped jackboots of commercialism.
The Amazing Adventure (1936) Cary Grant, Mary Brian
"The Amazing Quest of Mr. Ernest Bliss"
formidable
Love Cary Grant
Brad Pit who , always love Gary always will
Clever!!
Cary grant really was a gorgeous man
nice movie
Put this on English captions - it's like hilarious Bad Lip Reading!
Thank you for sharing. I hadn't seen this movie in a long time, in fact I don't think I saw all of it before. so I am excited to see how it ends. I also like to see this other movie with Cary Grant and Ethel Barrymore playing as his mother and he left the mom n pop's little store and joined a gang but saw how cruel and ruthless the gang was so he tried to break away but the gang leader went after his girl friend and then my damn tape ran out... Speaking of.. I cant understand why in the hell they cant make a VCR where you could hook up an external hard drive or a SD card to it and record shows that way? I've looked into it n they are either so expensive that one cannot afford it or if you have a cable box it's got a 40 GB HDD which sucks (and you cannot transfer shows anywhere) you can get a TB for 60 bucks... or like that stupid Tivo you have to subscribe to a service and pay monthly fee on top of paying 4 an internet connection so the technology is either not there or is, but in the hands of greedy idiots. So I don't get it? why cant I use a memory stick instead of vcr tape??
Very dizzy movie. Cary Grant is like a normal guy caught in an over-actted nightmare! All the others are trying too hard to "Act" while Cary steals the whole movie being a normal guy. His talent exceeded this movie. Great man in movies and I'm sure in life!
53.50 girl comes out of phone booth. Same girl comes walking from the back a few seconds layer :D Like this movie. Hope I'll meet Cary Grant in the afterlife...along with a few others
Cary Grant great actor
Prachtige film
Very funny film!!
is there a higher resolution version online anywhere?
I am looking for a movie where the leading man gives up everything starts with nothing not even clothes and gets a paper suit made and it goes on from there.
Ken Korpi, The only film that I know along those lines is 'The Man in the White Suit
1951 ‧ Drama/Comedy ‧ 1h 25m Starring Alec Guiness
Wwowowowow
Many thanks. Do you have meet the baron with the stooges ?
Hi, I'm looking for 1944 Love Story with Margaret Lockwood and Stewart Granger. Can someone please upload it?
+Cleopatra Did you try googling just that?
+Marie Dina I actually found it on RUclips a month after I posted the comment, but the way it was titled it just didn't come up in the search. But thank you for your reply and suggestion. :)
It was cute. Ur right, the ending was cheesy. Haha!
ounce again in life we see the life of the rich portrayed ....
That doctor resents his clients, why is his office at that address?
Very hard to hear and see … had to strain to hear and see so ended up not watching the whole video.
The absolute winner (by leagues over all of us humans) in the history of this planet.
Carey Grant was and remains - the Grand Slam, World Series, Planet Champion of Humans - in every category - Goodness and Perfection...
...and he was a "Hottie"!
Mercy :-D
Note: (not including the likes of Jesus, I feel bound to mention - as I don't seek to set off controversy - Of course Jesus is in quite a league of his own and for what I know/understand of Buddha as a man that sought to teach masses of humility, spiritual balance, and goodness, very similar to Jesus's example through his life actions), I am referring to the rest of us -
ie - public comments are clearly the favorite feeding grounds for Narcissists - I believe they are commonly known in this venue as "Trolls" -
Beth Bartlett
ok star!🙂
Kind of short for a movie
Imbd says it should be 80 minutes. some scenes cut? Film sped up? or something more sinister?...
I watched it, I think it lacked anything amazing or adventurous
GeronL1 Starving after being rich, is quite an adventure and it's amazing you can survive like that.
Are there such nice rich men nowadays?
Film is completely OUT OF FOCUS..
SO SO
Disappointing.
Worst fight scene ever!
You've obviously never been in a fight.
Lizard Queen It did last much too long.
Obviously you've never seen real fights.
