@kurtistjustic i believe it was theirs. when i tried to run my mad torque it sounded like a dying raccoon. i took the axles apart and found that the gears had pretty much turned to jello. however i must say that everything else despite the destroyed gears after i replaced them it worked extremely well.

these are great crawlers i got one highly recomended. rock crawlers dont break often either. so you wont be buying partz. and you can run 4 wheel steering on a 2 channle radio as long as your ok with it being 4 wheel all the time. becuase it can be done threw a y harness
fyi torque twist is caused by the motor turning. meaning when the motor turns (hitting throttle) it causes the chassis to move. saying that, for torque twist to happen the motor needs to be mounted on the main chassis. it has the motor mounted onto the axials. so it doesn't transfer to the main chassis, it goes to the wheels. and its a shame you use 2 motors. uses more power and twice as much to wear out. least all the truck is made of metal but the important things.

I was wondering if you guys could take your mad torque 18 scale crawler do a nother video with it climbing bigger rocks and going up like Sandy Hill or loose gravel or maybe a little mud I really really want this this crawler but I would like to see it do a little more please and thank you

i love the 2 moters. great idea, i have a exceed max stone 1/16 crawler and it has 1 moter in the middle. still 4x4 but the axles are allways hitting rocks :/
As stated on the description of the items. The ARTR models come with no radio system, battery and charger. If it a nitro model then it will not come with the radio system.

@96marrufo The ESE might be bad, change it out and see if it fixes the problem.
With the stock charger it will take about 1-2 hours to charge the battery.

The stock charger will fully charge the included battery in about 4-6 hours.
You will need to get 4 batteries for the transmitter but other than that it will come with everything you need it to run.
What part are you looking for?
We carry 2 versions of this model a ARTR version and RTR version. The RTR version will come with the controller, the ARTR version will not.
The axle housing is plastic but the drive shafts is metal.
Check out our tutorial for the Max Stone and you will get the basic idea on how to install the 4 wheel steering for the Mad Torque.

No you cannot use a lipo, the ESC isn't rated for lipo usage.
There is 3 gears in the transmission, it doesn't mean that it has 3 speeds.

You can but it's not recommended because the crawler isn't lipo ready.

No you don't but you can break in the motor if you want.

The Max Stone 8 wheels are way bigger than the Mad Torques so no these tires won't fit the Max Stone.

Of course the torque twist is not there as this rig is a MOA. So... no magic there. Is the ESC suppporting LiPo (and the needed volts cutoff)?

You don't need a new esc for 4 wheel steer. I have a maxstone 8 and have 4 wheel steer with the stock esc.
