    Hay havic (sorry if I miss spell) I was playing with an idea and wondered why it hasent been done or if was even possible, a nitro crawler or even a larg scale gasser crawler. Is there a reason no one makes them? I mean there are 4wd vehicles of each cant you modify them to crawl? With your knowledge of RC do you think its possible? Or maybe you know someone with one, well hope you and the wife have a nice rest of your week see ya.

    • @RCDrift2224
      @RCDrift2224 10 лет назад

      I'm no expert, but I think nitro engines have very little torque, just lots of speed, so they wouldn't be good for a crawler. but I don't really know, I've never had a nitro, just my guess haha

      Nitro's run really hot so driving them at very slow speeds would just cook them. As for weed whacker engines they are just way too big to be used in rock crawlers.

    Hey medic can you have four wheel steering with the dig system as well? I've got a losi nc and I'd love to do that to it? Also how do you get such good throttle control out of the motors. Mine is stock right now with a spektrum dx2s controller and it seems like it is either full throttle or no throttle.

    I'm looking to get into building a custom comp crawler (I'm a precision machinist so I plan to make lots of my own parts) but my biggest problem is Idk where to start. This model is no longer available so any idea of a good starter kit to start building off of? Possibly something rtr as I have no other rc cars this will be my first just getting into this.Thanks!

    Hi, I am new to the hobbie grade rcing. I got me an Axial Honcho RTR. I find myself flipping when trying to go uphill. I dont gun it, I crawl, but I find my self in this situaton most of the time. The Honcho is stock except for the 4 link, HR tierod and bumper raise mod. Any tips on how to climb/downhill? what I can do to it? Love the Hobbie!!!

    Hi,
    What is a power regulator used for? I assume its for a duel set up?
    Thanks.

    • @TheRealRCSparks
      @TheRealRCSparks  10 лет назад

      The power regulator (BEC) actually provides proper voltage to all parts of the vehicle when necessary. IE: If i am trying to power out of something, and use my high voltage Steering servo at the same time, the BEC ensures that all parts of my truck get the right amount of power, without any fade to individual components (Receiver, Motors, Esc's & Servo). I use a castle creations 10amp BEC

    Hey medic I wanna raise my sisters axial scx10 and I was just wondering is it just suspension coils I need or what do I need to raise enough to notice that it's been raised?

    • @patrickbenfield524
      @patrickbenfield524 10 лет назад

      Get a Level 3 RC Lift Kit for the scx10 and what it does is basically moves the shocks down lower which raises the truck up about a 1 1/2-2 1/2 inches!!

    • @andrewchan7808
      @andrewchan7808 10 лет назад

      preload clips

    • @jaytellme29
      @jaytellme29 10 лет назад

      Ok thanks

    • @icanturn6844
      @icanturn6844 10 лет назад

      The scx10 dosen't have preload clips. The shocks have a threaded body so you can turn the adjuster down. However, that won't make a difference in ride height so you will need a lift kit but I wouldn't get one because it makes the center of gravity to high. So have it how you want it. If you check out my channel I did a mod that will let you raise the ride height withought a lift kit.

    • @tjwise410

      Brushless if you put some gearing in to make it have more torque instead of spead but brushless will make the gears spin faster
