Nice video as usual from the Bush TV channel. I love lake Cobbler, I've been there many times. The falls are just a little stroll from the hut. If you have a spare 3 to 5 hours the hike to the top of mt Cobbler is also very nice and the views from up there are breathtaking. Thanks for the video!
Cheers mate 👍 It's a great spot that's for sure. There was minimal water on the Falls unfortunately, might mean another trip in for me 👍 Glad you enjoyed mate 👍
Hope you get your car fixed quickly dan but if you were in a triton you would have floated up the tracks🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 great series, great spots & great food looking forward to the next one 👍
Thanks mate, really glad I can get out there before they either lock us out or make nit all a tourist attraction park with no camping. Thanks for watching mate 👍 appreciate your comments 👍
Thanks , as always really enjoyed the video and having a look around . Always love the slow motion log throwing ! Don’t throw yourself off ! Keep ‘em coming ! 👍👍🍻🍻
Another good one we appreciate so much what you’re doing for us look after your health so you can be strong and show us more and more and more good on you You are the best❤
Great vid again. Was up that way 2 easters ago. That whole area can get insanely busy - like Bourke street! And it looks like that rutted out hole at the bottom of speculation is still there! That little cobbler track has been close for quite sometime now - I think a bridge is washed out/broken somewhere along it.
Why you gotta camp at all my favourite spots ?!!?! I LOVE Lake Cobbler...or as you spelled it on the title screen Lake Cobblre...or on the video name as Lake Cobber 🤣. Watching the sun rise over that pyramid shaped mountain in the background while the mists swirl over the water is just magic !
Amazing again mate. You have no idea how much you’ve inspired me to get back into camping. I love the way you camp. I went into the bush a couple nights ago and was just picturing the way you camp and I pretty much just did everything the same way. Haha. Thanks mate!
@@Bush-Tvthanks mate. Still waiting for you to do a video showing what gear you use and how you load up for a trip. Haha. I might learn a new hack or 2. Cheers mate
What was the track like between the turn off to MtSpeculation and into the lake. I was there walking in Aug/Sept 2023 and the track was pretty messed up and had a 800 mm step up right across the road. I assume is been fixed?
Was a little rough, but I had no power steering. One little bog hole you see that in the video. The steps are all gone mate and the track into the lake has been gridded
Hi been watching you for couple of years now .and we are from bairnsdale .and we have a 2012 triton and we have a single axle off road camper .just asking do you know of any nice place to camp with camper near a river for my wife and l we are both 60 and not into realy rough tracks
G'day Rod, There's some really nice spots along the Dargo River. Also if you want to travel further the Buckland Valley is really nice, a little more popular but nice 👍
I noticed you had a dog with you. How do you manage that in a National park? Just curious as I have found since I got my dog I am very limited where I can go. Is there a way around these things? Cheers mate
@Bush-Tv ye wasn't implying it was yours. Just like there is a post on paradise Falls page saying it's dog friendly. I drove all the way there to be greeted by a sign 2km from falls. No Dogs. National Park. Irresponsible dog owners that don't get caught make it hard for the likes of me. I think I can pass through a park but can't let dog out. Was just asking, not accusing you of wrong. Sorry if it came across wrong. Love your work. Cheers mate 👍
I know what your going through with no power steering l can recall coming through the Adelaide hills in a Kenworth T 400 in the prime mover with no power steering it was a bit hairy but went slow.

Yeah, you can get to Lake Cobbler from Cheshunt with a 2wd/SUV, but that's as far as you'd want to go.
Hope you get your car fixed quickly dan but if you were in a triton you would have floated up the tracks🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 great series, great spots & great food looking forward to the next one 👍
Lake cobbler mid winter is my favourite site. Mist on the lake, snowed last time I was there. There was still a hut last time I visited 😮
Yeah definitely a great spot mate

How did you find spec track mate? Last time I went up that was it was like driving up a river bed. Rattled my teeth out
Wasn't really that bad even without power steering mate

A quick question, how did your mate get a dog in a national park?
It's a Risk he takes, and out of my control mate
great mate

@mickwatson2177 all good mate, it's OK to take the dog through as I'm aware 👍 my mate has a tendency to bring the dog even know he's been warned.
