Top Job BT nice little spot trust others will look after it now it’s on the map through your channel I’ve put peppermint oil in my kit as well and keeping the bonnet open at night the colder weather should get rid of them now ?????
Cheers mate 👍 Yeah let's hope it's looked after and not destroyed by fools. It's a really good spot down there plus the Jamieson River is magic. I'm going to make up some little containers to place under the bonnet but thought about it and put the oil down on the tyres. I figured that's the entry point they would have had to access haha. That clip of the Bush rat was in Jamieson hut about 3 weeks ago
Thank you so much for cleaning up the hut. I've never been there, but the bush needs more blokes like you willing to help. Conservationists.... Where do I start? From the Great Alpine National Park, to the banning of trout stocking in streams... They are causing us so many problems and doing everything in their power to stop us from enjoying what we love.
Its a pleasure to do what I did mate, I love the bush and love the huts we have, I here you on the conservationists. Its a real problem we are facing, But standing strong for our rights is our strengths. Cheers for the feedback mate, This issue involves a lot of different industries and the ripple effect wont be good.
Another nice episode I was worried that you could’ve seen any snakes in there but you’ve done a very very good job for the community. You are the best. Take care.😊
Thanks mate, I just couldn't see that hut disappear into nowhere. It's not the oldest hut out there, but it's there and people have put in a massive effort to construct it. Thanks for watching and cheers for the comment mate 👍
Thanks Bush TV . Another great video enjoyed . Really good and different content and it even had slow motion log throwing ! Well done on the work around the hut . Keep em coming ! 👍👍🍻🍻
I was intrigued by what might have happened to you when you mentioned something earlier in the video. I didn't guess the bush rat problem. lucky you checked the car when you did. Great job with the hut. I wouldn't have looked under the sheet of iron either. Keep up the good work mate!!
Cheers mate, Yeah, was a gut feeling mate, just thought start the rig and check. Defiantly don't go stirring the pot when it comes to jo Blakes. Thanks for watching mate glad you enjoyed.
Yeah, I couldn't let that go like that after I seen it in March, I'll be back there mate, it's a great little spot 👍 Cheers for the comment mate 👍 Appreciate it 👍
When I was last there a couple of years back there was a locked gate too that track we walked at least 5 km to that hut I am guessing the gate is gone now🤔
G'day Terry, there is still a gate but I don't think its seasonal as there was no seasonal sign, But sill not sure. I walked the whole track at night one time, Now that was bit of a challenge in the mud
Great job mate. Have been to the hut countless times. Fly fish the south branch up to the hut and walk back to Wrens along the track. I remember years ago when we could drive down with ease.
Great work on the whippy. Really made a difference to the hut. Much more appealing! Those rats did some good work on a mates patrol at comets flat a few months ago. Was blue hose but lucky they didn’t get through. Must be something about the blue hose I guess that tastes better!! Cheers
Thanks mate, yeah it's definitely something to do with blue I reckon. They had a go at the fuseable link shield as well, and that's blue. I'll be back at that hut when I can for a night, just love it down there. Cheers for the comment mate, glad you enjoyed 👍
Well cobber it's great to see people like you looking after this great Country of ours, only wish I was still living down in Vic and could give you a hand but hopefully some of your supporters will help out in the future, good luck and stay safe Cheers
Thanks mate, Yeah its a real shame that that some places like this are just forgotten and left to drift away, Just hope this hut is respected by all when they visit
good onya shagga i love your content i wish there was more blokes and families like you crazing the bush, cause m8 we come across some serious knob jockeys floating around up there now days, well done ol m8 keep up the work great work

Haha, Yeah mate was defiantly an experience I've never come across those bush rats. Its a great little spot in there mate. Hope you enjoyed that Friday Avro frothy mate. Have a great weekend and Big cheers for watching 👍🍺🍺🍻
Another awesome episode mate, great work on cleaning the blackberries. Is there something you can put in your engine bay to prevent rats eating the electrics? Like something to spray on the wires so they wont bite them? You are not the first person I've seen to have them gnaw at the wires. There must be some deterrent!
Awesome stuff mate 🍺 have had the same thought about this joint, great to see you giving it a crack! I'd be keen to round up some fellas and have a go at getting Crows hut fixed, one of the favourites
Cheers mate, Now that would be good, I've always thought that hut would be destroyed by trees falling on it or bush fire. Like everything it needs to be respected by all who visit it.
@@Bush-Tv I was always concerned about trees. The fireplace inside was in need of attention though, no doubt what caused the fire. It's was such an asset on wet, cold nights.
Cheers mate, came up well that hut. I was ment to stay there another day if the bush rats hadn't of had a go at the 80. Oh I'm not a Richmond fan mate haha
Thanks mate 😁 yeah but it's one of those things. Now I've got peppermint oil , hopefully that keeps them away plus it smells sort of ok around the old girl as well 🤣
I concur! I've been there in bad weather and seen mud almost destroy the inside of the hut. Another time the track out was extremely muddy and almost impassable
