I did my first real 4 wheel drive trip 44 years ago around this area somewhere. My mate and I where only 18. We camped by the Murchison River. Loved this place but I nearly lost our lives onone of the many a hair pin bends on the Licola-Jamieson road! Keep up the good work 👍🍻

Great work Daniel, the tracks look good though that area, few challenges here and there just what you want. Nothing wrong with the camp sites and rivers either. Just being out in the bush keeping it simple is the only way, that’s what camping is all about for me anyway. Great content n history. Cheers 🍺
Thanks Geoff 👍 Love the simple Setups mate , can't go wrong. Yeah it's a really good run that one, it's got a bit of everything. Thanks for watching mate 👍 Appreciate your comments 👍

Thanks mate, can't beat the simple set-up 👍 The billy I got will probably last for a bit but definitely on the lookout for an upgrade after 20 years haha. Thanks for the info on that. If you don't mind me asking, where abouts did you get this one's from 👍
Great spot that👍I went down there years ago, but from the other end off South Road near Connor’s Plains, great views that way as well. One of my mates somehow left his cruiser keys in his sleeping bag and thought they were lost forever and I found them 6 months later after they were digging into me when I borrowed his sleeping bag one night
Ah that would have been a pain loosing those mate, I've often left the wallet or a the torch in the swag but don't think I've ever lost stuff in the sleeping bag, probably be the last place ide look as well.
Well done mate, look forward to your videos each week, and your knowledge of the high country. Also enjoy the light heartedness of it and the slomo action. Definitely hard work. However the less the viewers are aware of that the better imo. 👍🏼
beautiful final view....glad ya found that phone...and yes done that before myself last time we went camping...had to pull over and go through everything till I found it and sure enough was in the swag....lol
Thanks, Daniel. Another great bit of content. How did that peppermint oil go. Oh by the way, thanks for the couple of stickers you sent me. Much appreciatedDave thanks again. 👍🏻
Cheers mate, so far so good with that peppermint oil. Shouldn't really be an issue now with the cold, but still you never know. I'm going to make up some in a spray bottle and see how that goes as well.
I reckon this is some of the best camera work you’ve done Dan. Keep up the good work mate, it’s appreciated by me and the viewers who don’t have the opportunity to get out in the bush on a regular basis.
Great videos mate, my wife and oldest son and I enjoy your videos because you do it all with no fuss and no big expensive set ups just a basic but reliable set up, keep up the good work mate
Love the content you create. Driving and drone footage is great and particularly like camping footage and commentary as well. Would you consider replacing the billy with a jet boil? Did the peppermint oil work to repel the mice?
Thanks mate 👍 Glad you like it all. I've looked at the Jet boil, particularly the gas cooking ones with propane so I don't get freeze. I'm more leaning towards a new old school Billy for the camp Cheers for watching mate and thanks for the comment 👍
Love these videos ,you keep it real don't blow wind up your clacker and show how it is great effort keep doing what you do and we'll keep watching 11.45 13/7/24

Thanks mate, definitely won't be changing anything ( maybe the beer hear and there) love a good IPA mate that's for sure, Mate I would love to come down to Tassie one day, might be sooner than I think 👍 Thanks for watching mate, appreciate your comments 👍
Been watching your content for a while now. Never been up to the Vic high country. Watching your videos gives me an idea of what I could possibly do later on. Keep it up mate. Thanks!
Just throught I'd mention some steel wool and a can of heat resistant pot belly black just might find your blue Billy will be black, lol...but given its in the fire most of the time it'll go black anyway cheers for the vids
Great work 👍I enjoy what you do and always look forward to your next trip etc …..the footage is outstanding…. And yes I rolled the car keys in my swag just once never again lol
Thanks very much mate, really glad you enjoy them. I've done that as well haha. same as a torch, couldn't find that until I used that swag about 6 months later haha. Thanks for watching mate, Cheers.
Thanks for the great work your doing, always waiting for the next episode, I use to ride the area all the time, camped at Merrington flat, thanks bush tv 👍👍🍻
Mate, thanks to people like you for watching 👌it wouldn't be what it is with that. Some nice spots over near the Thompson mate 👌 Cheers for the comment 🍺 🍻
I look forward to every episode you put out mate. And definitely appreciate your hard work. One a day would be great, thanks in advance. The passion for this country we all live in shows also. And anyone who has travelled some of the tracks we have in Australia knows it. From a viewers perspective, I’d have you as a mate in no time. Cheers
Thanks mate, not a lot know what goes on behind the scenes, but the end results pay off 👍 Very lucky to have such a great country to explore 👌 Really glad you enjoy it all mate. Appreciate your feedback 👍👍
Love what you do I appreciate your hard work and I like the fact have the same car as I do and you're a humble I don't like the big fancy channels with
In regards to the dead deer I’d imagine it was shot but still ran off and the hunter couldn’t find it. No reason not to harvest the whole deer when you have vehicle access. Great video mate. I’m going through your old content as I’m wanting to do a solo camp next week and I’ve never done it before so getting some confidence from your videos one question why did u remove the 270 awning and go for the one on the vehicle now?
G'day Paul, I come across a lot of dead deer out there, some without a head and some full body just shot. Solo trips are great mate, if you can put up with your own company, you can't beat it Feel free to contact me on Facebook if you need to mate, willing to help for location's if you need some Glad you enjoy mate and cheers for watching 👍
Thanks for another great vid. Gotta get out there. It's been way too long. I particularly like the track notes as it helps me trip plan. Keep up the good work
Another great video mate. Appreciate all the effort that goes into your content. Love the way you camp it’s exactly how I do it. Solo and simple. No coffee machines 😂
Thanks mate 👍 Simply the best and easiest wat to go mate. I love a coffee, but that clamping thing just won't happen with me 😅 Thanks for watching mate 👍 Cheers 🍻
Thanks mate, really appreciate all the work you do creating these videos. Its so good sitting at home watch your adventures in a beautiful part of Victoria. When i am not working so much I will definitely try to see more of the sights you have visited and even stay at Licola caravan park .Your hard work inspires me to go and do it . Keep em coming and Keep up the great work ! 👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻
Thanks Mark, glad it's an inspiration Just love the bush and the mountains just do something for me. Thanks for watching and commenting om all the videos mate I really appreciate it 👍
Which topo map are you using on this trip? I can't seem to find serpentine Creek on any of the maps on my phone, I'll have to go downstairs and consult the pile of paper maps which surely cover every track (whether still here or not) and square inch of VHC
Another great vid mate! I’ve left My phone under my tent when setting up. It fell out of my pocket. Took half an out to find. Keep up your work. I find your vids great to help me plan my trips. I know what u mean by time consuming with the videoing solo. I find that for my channel I don’t get external footage enough as I’m always in a rush trying to do too much. One last thing though. Did u go Burgoynes East or west. I thought the track to the west of Licola Rd is the west track. And that’s the one that goes through the Macalister river. 🤷♂️ cheers bud.
Thanks mate. I lost an iPhone in the snow at Lovics years ago, was just about to give up on the 2 hour search and I found it, couldn't believe it. Its great to know the videos are a help mate, that's why I include maps and Lower 3rds with Track names now. There are some spots That I wont do that to tho, Those special spots haha. Sure is very time consuming mate, not to mention editing. That last trip I took Burgoyne East off the Licola rd, Then Green hills to Cobb Spur. Thanks for watching mate, Reach out on Facebook and maybe I can organise a trip some time 👍
@@Bush-Tv thanks Daniel. Yeah I’ll definitely reach out. You will notice I use the lower thirds too, to show where I am but of course special places stay special. Cheers Adam.
Mate we love ya content but dont kill yourself to make it. Take the time at some of your locations for yourself to unwind. Also expect now to see you do the Peppermint Twist sprinkling that oil all over your engine lol! 👍🍺
Your right on it mate 👍 I have pushed a bit hard. Might change my way a bit an take a little longer to do some of theas videos. There has been times when I've gone out and made some of them in 3 sittings. The best way to do it is over a couple of days in one location 👍 If I do that dance the mice will be on the bank with popcorn I reckon 😅 or the rains will come thinking it's a rain dance 🤣 Thanks for watching mate and really appreciate your feedback 👍
G'day Ross, yeah it was either Ray's tents or Aussie disposals way back say 20 years ago. I'll have a look in Aussie again but I'm pretty sure they where blue now. Thanks for the info mate 👍
Great Area BT love the Drone footage coming down Burgoyne That cob spur track is one of the best around the area and never seen anyone when out there

Simply the best and easiest wat to go mate.
I love a coffee, but that clamping thing just won't happen with me 😅
Thanks for watching mate 👍
Cheers 🍻
Love seeing all the spots u go iv gotta get out camping more
Thank Heath, glad you like 👍
Thanks for watching 👍👍
Well done Daniel you have a great easy going style and get to some great places.
Thanks mate 👍 really appreciate that 👍
Lots more to explore out there mate and the camera's are on the trips 👍
Cheers for watching mate 👍
Thanks mate, really appreciate all the work you do creating these videos. Its so good sitting at home watch your adventures in a beautiful part of Victoria. When i am not working so much I will definitely try to see more of the sights you have visited and even stay at Licola caravan park .Your hard work inspires me to go and do it . Keep em coming and Keep up the great work ! 👍👍👍🍻🍻🍻
Thanks Mark, glad it's an inspiration
Just love the bush and the mountains just do something for me.
Thanks for watching and commenting om all the videos mate I really appreciate it 👍
@@Bush-Tv appreciate if you could do a clip on what to do with the peppermint spray . Thanks 🙏🏻
@markhopkins9925 yeah will do mate
Which topo map are you using on this trip? I can't seem to find serpentine Creek on any of the maps on my phone, I'll have to go downstairs and consult the pile of paper maps which surely cover every track (whether still here or not) and square inch of VHC
Using Rooftop and Hema mate
Luv the video mate keep up the good work !
Cheers mate 👍 Appreciate you watching 👍
Another great vid mate! I’ve left
My phone under my tent when setting up.
Great work, mate, keep it up I'm going to tell five mates to watch and subscribe, and they are going to tell five and so on.
Mate, your an absolute legend.
Glad you enjoyed it mate.
Massive thanks for watching 👍
Mate we love ya content but dont kill yourself to make it. Take the time at some of your locations for yourself to unwind. Also expect now to see you do the Peppermint Twist sprinkling that oil all over your engine lol! 👍🍺
Your right on it mate 👍 I have pushed a bit hard.
Might change my way a bit an take a little longer to do some of theas videos.
There has been times when I've gone out and made some of them in 3 sittings.
The best way to do it is over a couple of days in one location 👍
If I do that dance the mice will be on the bank with popcorn I reckon 😅 or the rains will come thinking it's a rain dance 🤣
Thanks for watching mate and really appreciate your feedback 👍
Hi Daniel, purchased a black Billy very similar to one you are using from Aussie disposals a while back, if that helps
G'day Ross, yeah it was either Ray's tents or Aussie disposals way back say 20 years ago.
I'll have a look in Aussie again but I'm pretty sure they where blue now.
Thanks for the info mate 👍
@@Bush-Tvlet us know if you find one mate. I’m in the market for the same but want to make sure it’s not aluminium.
G'day mate, dear will do
pm me on Facebook otherwise I'll forget
Cool video.. 😅keep up the good work 👍
Cheers Ben,
