I had the same problem, and working out was my solution. All the things you said are awesome, but starting to workout it will help your back muscles to protect you.

Literally had a microdiscectomy in March 2023 due to a piece of vertebrae pushing into my spinal cord and causing sciatica pain. Still have lingering piraformis issues, but my sciatica is 100% better.
I was told by a chiropractor the best best position to sit in is one that you've just changed to. Sitting in the same position for hours on end is terrible for your body, thats why so many people have been getting that one brand of chair that looks funky, but can allow you to sit in over 5 positions.

I suggest every hour or so. They say every 15-20 minutes but that’s not realistic for me
