I'll never understand, why folks with these cameras, say "I'm going to call the police." Why alert the thieves and allow them time to get away? Don't they want the thieves caught? I understand yelling, or telling them to leave. However, wouldn't it make more sense to call the police 1st? Get them on the way and then deal with the thieves. Am I crazy, or missing something? 🤷🏼♀️
if you don’t get them away from your house they can get in and kill you before the police even get there. if you have a camera you have evidence of getting them arrested at a later time, when your life isn’t actively at risk.
I think a lot of people’s instinct is just end the situation asap. Probably scared.

@erichauser2017 I know thankfully the cops knew her really well and caught her an hour later, the county attorney almost let her out! I had to go to the local newspaper and they didn't offer her a plea agreement after all

Buy a gun people... If u cant (felon ect) then buy black powder firearm or at least a taser... Im a felon myself and i have a black powder colt and a few airguns that can take down a deer (or a thief) and i sleep so much better knowing my family is relatively safe. My daughters all carry pepper spray or a taser and are trained to know how to use my firearms safely and effectively. Leave nothing to chance and the police response time in my city is a few min (a lot can happen in a few min)

4:21 the victim, even if he was in fear for his life, did hand over his car keys in this footage and this will not go down well with the police or the courts, even in the current setup once this footage is played in court - he should have ran inside and barricaded himself inside his house and called 999 immediately - sadly, the only way to stop incidents like these is to have martial law on the people’s terms and a Milltary dictatorship in power with a police state, as well as fully arming the police, as this is the only solution to the UK’s many problems - future generations are going to have a much tougher time unless this is implemented as quickly as possible - this shows all too clearly how the democratic process and democracy itself has failed the British people, where I myself have lived 22 years in the U.K. because the democratic process is all too vulnerable to corruption of all kinds, at least if we had an autocracy with an absolute ruler or a Milltary dictatorship, this would be a much more honest form of government as people would know where they stand, as we have seen in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and many other countries.
