Life was so good the summer 93 was so dope!!!
That's why drill over impact on screws, impact has far nore power but doesn't have a smooth displacement, making it easier to rock off or tip to the side
I had a friend do that to one of my JBL subs when i got them for my first system. He had a walmart Sony explode and kept saying man it must be noce your brother buys you nice subs. Next thing i know he said "oops" just put tape over it. Its just a cone
I can't believe they would even use an impact driver with deck screws with that! LoL I always pre drill my holes and use somewhere between an electric screwdriver or a cordless drill set on low torque.
How does having a receipt save you from the negligence of an improper installation, which in turn caused damage? You're the reason why everything is so expensive... if you managed to return something that was entirely your own fault and responsibility, no wonder everything costs so much.
@@marcfavell No kidding, that was the point I was making. People like him are the at least part of the reason why prices always go up and quality always goes down.
Installers gotta start doing shit right. I've seen people drilling trimming the enclosure to fit the sub and leaving all the saw dust inside. Also it's much cleaner to use a drill bit instead of just drilling with the screw itself, things like this wouldn't happen.
My heart just sank in and my soul left my body. No wayyyyyy!!! I think I’m going to cry. That’s one of my biggest fears. Especially something that expensive. Ima need a minute to come back to earth.
Live in Georgia... already have a Lil sum going on but I have no idea where to take my vehicle (2017 jeep wrangler jk) to get professional audio customization done. Please help yall???
From those who installs speakers in the box, it is NOT recommended to use a drill to put screws in, it’s a 90% guarantee you can damage the cone and the rubber surround, it’s best to use a screw driver instead, as installing a speaker, the screw driver should be in a better shape to grasp on the top of the screw of what it takes, kindly put a little firmness on the screw driver to keep it from slipping (that can happen with a lot of things)
Problem one is this is NOT a drill. It's an impact driver with a ratcheting mechanism designed to drive high torque hardware. Like a 3* deck screw into wood. Had he used a actual DRILL, it would've had a 2 speed gear box. He should've had it in low gear at a low RPM and all would have been fine. If you don't know how to USE the tool correctly without damaging something, then yes. You need to have your power tool privileges taken away and be left with a screw driver to finish the job. But this WAS A SKIT. So it was all a joke to begin with...
Why not just round it off to a bakers dozen and do a 13 stack of subs 20 speakers 6 tweeters and 8 power banks 4 extra batteries and a tablet setup in the glove box for the passenger to be dj and adjustable effects. 😂😂😂😂

You should try putting rubber prints around the screws when you mount it to cut down buzzing. Because the speaker will eventually lift off the box
