السلام عليكم شيخ I am sure you already know what the people say more than I do, but incase you need some inspiration, I have heard people say "if you don't support elections, you support dictatorship", "every Muslim is equal/has an equal voice", "not supporting voting/democracy is radical", "We are voting for the lesser of 2 evils", and so on.
Wa alaikum as-salam warahmatullah. Since the electoral system in the US is based on a two party system, historically, third parties did not have much success, except for a very few instances, such as Theodore Roosevelt in 1912. In addition, voting in a kafir country risks one falling into direct disobedience of the Quran regarding ruling by what Allah has revealed.
@@IslamLife2 the problem is, if you don’t vote, you will be complicit with your silence. living in a kafir country doesn’t mean we have to live like kafirs, & be silent in the face of a tyrant ascending the throne, which could have otherwise be averted had we used the resources & strength ALLAH has given us. yes the chances of a 3rd party might be slim to none, but morally, & spiritually speaking our soul/rooh will be content; that at-least we tried to stop evil to the best of our abilities. a vote is a very powerful weapon ALLAH has given us. to not use it, & then watch in horror at what the elected party is doing to our brothers & sisters both domestically & abroad, i think is inhumane. by this standards everyone is already voting then by living in the kafir country and paying taxes to regimes who use that money to attack other nations. that is a bigger vote of confidence than a ballot box. and ALLAH knows best. BarakALLAH feekum for your response.
also, to not vote falls directly into contravening of the hadith: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the prophet Muhammad said, "Whoever amongst you sees an evil, he must change it with his hand. If he is not able to do so, then with his tongue. And if he is not able to do so, then with his heart, and that is the weakest form of faith". - based on this hadith, i believe a vote is the minimum a person can do. but ultimately ALLAH knows best.
You must know that the Jews are smart and will work in all three parties and have great influence over their members, and perhaps most of them are supporters of the Israeli occupation. It is best to establish an independent party that supports Muslim issues and just causes. It is possible with Native Americans, Hispanics, and blacks to form a strong political party. Politicians may say one thing, but when they win, they do another thing behind closed doors. Therefore, do not sympathize with non-Muslims, even if they cry
That being said no voting is also a great option it's just that this would represent a message against genocide to the two parties and how much it actually means.
No. Not voting doesn't send any message. All it does is reinforce a stereotype among politicians that Muslims don't vote, and thus their demands are not to be taken too seriously. Voting 3rd party does send a message. That you would have given your vote had it not been for a particular stance that politician has... say the dems enabling the genocide. See videos on this topic from Sami Hamdi, Imam Tom, etc.

I explained this issue in the lecture, about the lesser evil. There is no lesser evil between the two sides.

@@عبدالله-ن6ه2ص This is just being overly suspicious now, Jill Stein is against Zionism and we would absolutely damage the two party system.
