@@Niccolo_Piccioli I dunno, I've been juggling about 8 years now, and I've always found 4 much harder than 5, same with many of the other jugglers I've spoken to over the years. the only real hard part about 5 is getting started, once they're all up there the muscle memory is pretty much the same as 3, just throwing much higher and working faster.

The sheer talent of this guy simply cannot be overstated. Also, I really I thought he was going to say ... _"... the riding of the six foot unicycle... much much more dangerous that that, I am going to attempt it with just 2 feet"_
Just brilliant. There’s no question he knew exactly what he was doing. He had perfectly timed jokes for the “drops” and when things appeared to be going sideways. Everyone: WOW
Oh, fabulous Frank... He's my juggling mentor. In 1987 when I was in 8th grade, a couple friends and I were forming a juggling trio and Frank generously invited us to his home in Berkeley where he met with us for an hour and gave us tips on all sorts of juggling and performing techniques. Seeing his phenomenal abilities up close and personal helped inspire me take my own juggling to a much higher level and become a professional juggler/entertainer. 15 years later, our paths crossed again... and for about the last 15 years we've played pick-up unicycle basketball every Tuesday in Berkeley whenever we're in town. Here's a clip of it: ruclips.net/video/ubfzZ8sTv5k/видео.html (we're both on the red team).
Thank you for sharing, amazing seeing you playing basketball while balancing on the unicycle, I do also love the lighting and vibe of a late afternoon game.
to pretend things go wrong (which they don't) and do great tricks with such a youthful jo, exuberance and 2 twinkles in the eyes speaks of tons of talent and great skill (earned in thousands of tough, hurtful, frustrating and finally joyful hours)
Frank really inspired me and pushed me to challenge self mounting the six foot giraffe unicycle back in 1985 in Venice. I practice for hours in the sand on the beach where Frank said was the best place to learn shelf mounting. Days later I finally got it
There were 4 or 5 of us kids in the neighborhood who rode unicycles. We'd play basketball and street football (of course the qb would be on foot). They were fun as hell. And then I got the Giraffe. Big difference. Scary as hell. Until I finally rode it. What sucked was we would ride everywhere. So if I fell, I would have to stand on someones car and hold on to the eve of their house to get going. And then my dad (who didn't ride) suggested I do what this guy did. That loosened me up a lot. I could crash anywhere. Then I sold it and used the money for Rush tickets. Still have my little one though. And I know you don't care. This just brought back some memories I felt like talking about. Don't act like you don't have childhood memories nobody cares about.
Brilliant. Love the genuinely good natured humour and clearly Frank is an exceptional exceptional juggler - not just hundreds of hours but thousands must've gone into this so he could execute this stuff all perfectly while acting like its chaos and landing every joke :D
Distinct memories of this guy from 35 years ago now. Happened upon him doing this very act for 'free' - street theatre at Edinburgh Fringe. Brilliant talent!
I met Frank in 2004 at a juggling convention, though I can't remember now if it was Humboldt or Coeur d'Alene. Didn't know his pedigree, but he was still funny in moment-to-moment interaction and a solid juggler. This fits what I saw of him to a tee. Thanks for uploading!
This guy is refreshing, funny, entertaining, and presents himself in a way that makes one feel better about the world. We could use a whole lot more of that these days - we have too many leaders who are looking like idiots but they aren't pretending and they definitely aren't funny.
Outstanding. It brings back so many great memories of watching that type of entertainment either in person or on television. Had me grinning from ear to ear!!!
This man is amazing. He is an outstanding juggler.y step dad was a juggler in his younger years and he was a good juggler. However, this man's juggling is way more superior and entertaining. Thank you for the hard work😊
Never realised how naturally funny performers in the 80s were, they've came up with 90% of these jokes on the spot, now a days everything so rehearsed nice to come back and watch some originality.
Many comedy jugglers will put in intentional drops because they have really good "drop lines". This guy handles it so well, I'd say at least the second drop could very well be intentional.
I really enjoyed this. He did a nice job improvising when the tricks went wrong. Also, he's a hell of a juggler..."ok, people usually applaud here" was hilarious.
Man is so funny he can't help laughing at his own jokes from the start to the end. Never seen that before from a comedian. Extremely talented too goddamn.
Pretending to be off-balance on a unicycle is probably a 100 times more difficult than actually balancing on a unicycle.
Exactly my thoughts, to act soo bad at something so difficult takes great skill, such a weird thing to say😂
