My secret is greasing the U-Joints every other time you have it out in the heavy duty mud and water 💦. If you can keep them cleaned off with a good pressure washer and keeping the dirt, sand, water and anything else off and out of the joints themselves. Never Had a problem with keeping them in heavy service with the cleaning and greasing method to keep the junk from working its way into the needle bearings in them. No water and dirt in the joint the longer it is going to last you Colt. 40+ years now and it works for me hunting and farming, in the Farm and Rust belt in Western Pennsylvania North of Pittsburgh, Pa. About a good hour or so. Great day to you all and enjoying the work that I am not doing today. LOL.😊
@@highostablegarage and I thank you Colt! I hope you have a great day today and I will say that I hope to get to meet you someday in person and the work you are doing is awesome in my opinion.
Just watched this whole build. I like how you made it how you liked it and got it back on the road. I’d rather look at this old truck than most of those shiny SEMA builds. If I’m honest. These old fords are mint. I have a couple myself. Darn slick 👌🏼
Glad you enjoyed the journey! Yeah I’m not a huge fan of the over the top stuff, give me a basic build that is purpose oriented and I can get behind it 👌
Awesome video Colt! I have a similar set of seat covers for my old ferd. Ol blue looks great with the new lights and it makes a huge difference for seeing Swamp donkeys coming out of the woods. As always I'm looking forward to the next video. Cheers
I live out in Shediac and ive seen you going a few times over by the Pete dealer. I work out in Grande Prairie in the patch so I see the occasional peg spotting too haha. Two of the mintiest guys on youtube 👌🏼
Cracking job youngster, those saddle blankets look quite smart, I do like those lights, like you said, it doesn't flood the area with light but it does add that little extra light, keep up the great work youngster. 🇬🇧
Long comment but love the 39" tires, the new intro is great, I have to do ujoints in my rusty truck but never wanted to due to lack of confidence but your video along with others have given me the courage to try it. You've done a great job with the truck so far, I know how project vehicles go and you've stuck to your word and kept us updated and showing us the progress.
Colt if you are going to get a brush guard get something tasteful and not a big ugly looking piece of machinery that looks like something that doesn't belong on the road period. Try and not to destroy the front stock bumper. Good morning and great Sunday morning to you all.

Everytime he says slick, take a shot. 😂 I’m hammered.
Oof, yeah, you would be if you played by those rules haha 😂

Glad you liked it 👌 yeah hopefully I see them before they see me haha 😂
16:13 I will say that it's been Hi Ho'ed and drove home to the repair shop. I hope everything is good and cozy in the Barn.
Pretty chilly haha 😂
Those streamlights are the best especially if you have the rechargeable one.
Yes sir!
Quote of the day "it is what it is"
Yes haha 😂

Thanks for your continued support!

Should put one of those off-road cages that go on top of the truck cab

You’ll get it done 👌I have faith 👍🏻
Such a great truck
It’s been really good!
Love this truck!
It grows on a fella haha
Looks awesome 👌 👏 👍
I'm amazed that the High Ho Stable garage doesn't have a socket for a good Ol Ford Four wheel drive. We have to remedy that.
I might even have it, just misplaced it haha 😂
the mega cab is becoming even more minty
Little by little 👌
With all all those lights you will be able to be seen on satellite images 😆
👌

I'm new. Was this a f 250?
I thought 350 had a solid axel?
Base truck for this build was a f250
💪👌👍
Did you end up selling the truck?
kept the old girl, I need a channel mascot haha
