Ngl that Goblin design goes hard and I hope they use it or at least something close to it. The helmet prototype you can find in the first game looks based off his go awful new ultimate look and I'm hoping they don't go that route. The concept art seems to be going down the right path thankfully

Well they didn’t have a choice they had to cut content. And the venom fight in the city wasn’t needed even tho we all wanted it. And i know what you are about to say and that the MJ mission aren’t needed as well but i trust insomniac and sm2 turned out really good with a good story but i would love a directors cut of sm2 so we can actually play all the cut content that would be so epic.
Exactly Brian said it himself they will make us like MJ. That's why it was cut and the over all product towards the end of the campaign felt nothing but rushed desperation. Not including the dumb in game decisions the characters made in the story. That's not even going with some of these brain dead side missions. I love insomniac and enjoyed all 3 games but I'm not going to blinding praise and kiss ass where is clearly NOT deserved.

Although I think it’s a massive stretch and farfetched, and I am not one of those saying this, it is not entirely impossible for for the same actor from the previous games to voice Norman, but Willem to voice Green Goblin.

In my very honest opinion if insomniac cancelled all of their projects I wouldn’t blame them they dealt with death threats, a cyberattack to now people still leaking upcoming stuff it’s insane. The Spider-Man community doesn’t deserve them.

They should of just kept the trailer under wraps tbh. At least if the hackers had released it they could have just said “we weren’t going to make this game or release the trailer” then people would have been upset. I do understand their reasoning though, maybe they thought it would be better to just release it then let the hackers have the glory

My biggest concernis that carnage will be a short DLC. Carnage is the most dangerous Spidey villian. I truly think he needs his own game as a vilian and for it to be done right, it would have to be bleak & dark. I'd say killing off MJ would be probably the darkest it could get but as I think about it now, I think Black Cat would be a prime candidate to be killed by Carnage. Then maybe one of Miles' closest friends or even his uncle during a prison breakout. I understand GG is the penultimate villian and the one most often associated with spider-man, but Carnage is a whole different level of pure chaos. He's basically marvel's version of the joker if the joker wasn't also a clown.
Perhaps they could have done online co op through the story and nothing more

Imagine working at a company where you do an excellent job while producing great quality games, and then your personal information gets leaked just to lose your job thereafter. Compare that to how Capcom is treating their employees lately, increasing their wage as compassion for their hard work.This is just the wrong approach by Sony and insomniac.
Sony owns them, they provide security and controls the layoffs, Insomniac has already came out that they are empathizing with the employees who were layed off. Further proof that you should only be saying Sony and not Insomniac is because Insomniac always gets praised at how awesome it is to work there.
Honestly. People just need to stop the leaks fr. I get it people want to know information but in all reality the less the games gets leaked the faster they will be here.
I personally think Insomniac will make a multiplayer Spider-Man game and name it into the spider verse. Imagine a gta online server but everyone is Spider-Man with different custom suits and stuff. Plus all those spidys in the same spot fits the into the spider verse theme.

It has been confirmed that miles will be the main spider man, but people assume that meant peter would be MIA, which isn't the case. Essentially it's going be like spider man 2 but reverse, where Miles and Cindy moon will have the majority of the plot time and Peter having the b plot (aka doc Ock return)
But yeah the original poster is speaking ignorance because anyone who's read miles Morales comics know that the goblins are one are a major part in miles mythos

That Green Goblin looks impossible for their Norman Osborn to be. Look at the build of Norman in the games and then look at that Green Goblin. Norman is kind of burly, while the Goblin is kind of lanky and slender. I just don't see how that was meant to be Norman Osborn. If Harry wasn't Venom already, I would have suspected him to be the Goblin but he's dead isn't he?

I’d really rather carnage over Beetle who no one gives a fuck about, especially after all that buildup with the side quests, and venom being in the game. Carnage makes a perfect dlc story. If they plan to have multiplayer, i think they should just do something Ubisoft did with Assassin's Creed Unity, but the difference is. Is that the player can choose to play as Mary Jane, Peter, Miles or the others. I'm also glad they cancelled the live service Spider-Man game, because Live Service can ruin a good game, Call Of Duty is the prime example, (Maybe Except the Treyarch Games)

But let's be honest here there really isn't a good reason that their contact information and Social Security numbers are that easy to get into as far as security this is a big company they had plenty of time to make sure that anybody's information whether it's games or peoples personal information what have a very slim if not 0% chance of even if it did get hacked it would have not gone now and nobody would have been able to mess with it in any way so really Insomniac really needs to fix that more than they are trying to think of how to redo any game or working with people to get their information back because if they don't fix the security problem it's just going to happen again
When Sony bought them out, Insomniac began living under their control. Sony provides the security, funds, and controls the employees… idk why people are saying Insomniac are at fault for leaks and laying off employees.

Because once the data is stolen, it's over. They're criminals, so they're probably gonna leak the data even if you pay them. But if they don't, they've got a copy of everything, so they will always have that over your head if you pay them. They could keep asking for more.

Spider-Man fan here, watched all the live action movies, watched 2/3 of Spider-Man shows, and read 1 Spider-Man comic (not flexing, that’d be goofy lol) and I thoroughly enjoy the game, the 3rd act was rushed but it was still epic asf… if only Sony didn’t push them to make the deadline 2023. They cut a lot of content out to make that deadline. Sony fucking up something with Spider-Man again… real *shocker* .

Insomniac made the Ratchet and Clank games I learned to play when I got into games as a kid, and now they doing Spider-Man games I enjoy - I don't know why hackers would target them. There's more worthy targets if they doing vigilante work, but just strange.
