Bill Campbell recently published many studies showing higher protein consumption leads to only gains and better body composition. Even when consuming more kcals that comes from protein you dont get fat! Thats why protein is king when dieting - solid video Kuba
how high we talking??
@@Nali7890 check Jose Antonio research - he went up to 4g/kg!!! Results were insane. Campbell did less and still had similar results. I recommend his interview with M.Matthews - he posted a podcast last week where they discussed all of that and much more
he did? Where? I went through his latest IG posts, and see few posts on protein intake and no only in none of them he stated that eating more protein in the energy surplus scenario leads to more gains... but also he wrote his protein intake recommendations for optimiing physique developement = 1.6-2.2g/kg of body weight ... soo....
Of course i may be missing something, in that case could you provide link to this info you mentioned

I experienced this on the carnivore diet. Lost tons of body fat, remained strong and had great gym sessions.
Appreciate your content brother keep it coming

Very useful thanks kube
Kuba.. Very True...
Great informative listen Kuba enjoyed it mate!
Do you opt for Greek yoghurt over cottage cheese/quark for you dairy source as it has a better nutrient profile overall mate?
Love this channel 💯🦏
Solid content Cuba! Thank you. As a vegetarian, you mentioned its harder to get Protein in & dont i know it already! What are your best recommendations please? Tofu, Eggs, Grains? Anything else epic please? Many thanks 👍
Thank you Kuba! 🙏
Is 0.3g/kg fat intake sufficient for natural athletes? Are hormones working well with this? Do you recommend this only during cutting or also during bulking?
I am a 90 kg natural athlete. Is 30g fat intake per day sufficient for me during bulking? I have heard that low fat intake minimizes fat gain during bulking. Is it true?
Great video! Very informative- thanks
Cheers kuba
Whats your recommendation on total (EPA+DHA) from omega 3 daily? Great video, keep it up 💪💪💪
Yes Kuba! Give me a follow 😉 part of MK Excellence team
When it comes to your fruit Kuba, do you include this in your macro count when counting carbs? So if you were to have 100g carbs post workout, are you having that from for example potato or is it 80g potato and 20g fruit?
Hi kuba I was wondering you say lean body mass to figure protein out but how would I know my lean body mass would the navy body test be ok?
Looking awesome 👍
TVP for me
it's 8:30 am, watching this video while eating my chicken breast and potatoes, let's get it!
Striking resemblance to a full grown Verne Troyer.
Need to see you on the menace podcast bro
When I’m big time
💪
When it comes to carbs and them being most important around training, what do you recommend for those that train first thing in the morning but struggle to eat beforehand? I can handle 2 scoops of whey at 5:30am but anything else makes me feel like crap when training, especially big days like legs. Maybe add a few oats so I can drink my carbs before training? Eating after training is never a problem.
Dextrose shake and bananas
Orange juice, banana, dates, raisins, raw honey are a few good choices
100g vitargo along whit eaa:s 30min pre training gives me the energy and pump i need. Digest really good also…my weight is 104kg and that seem to suit me perfect . (And yes, this is the first thing in the morning before training)
Carb drink intra with eaas. Depending what you had night before you may not need carbs
Unnecessary. Protein and fatty acids convert to glucose as needed. No carbs are necessary. Plus we don't need fiber at all. Humans aren't designed to digest fiber for a reason. Unnecessary
Would love your opinion on using lard for cooking my eggs, as i hear different opinions with regards to its benefits. some say its bad for you and others say its a natural animal fat which is good for you.
0 benefits to lard, poor choice of fats - stick to nuts eggs avocado etc
True no benefits but no harm either it’s the oils you need to avoid like sunflower oil 😊 I’m a carnivore cook my eggs in butter 😊
Kuba in the protein when u tell between 1g to 2.5g per lean LB of body weight maybe you mean 1-2.5g per kg of lean body weight??
No per lean lb, if it was kg you’d be eating a very small amount of protein…
What’s the benefits of sough dough? Also would you have the 0% fat or 5% Greek yogurt? Thanks
0% Fat yogurt and low fat dairy in general is the biggest con as its full of sugar. Great source of protein though.
@@chrisbfreelance you know you can buy 0% fat yogurt... without sugar right?
0% Greek yoghurt is good - sourdough is fermented great for gut health
2.5 g/lb of LBM for protein on the upper limit ? Is that correct?😮
There is no upper limit - research even supports that now
Are there any negatives to consuming excessive protein while still on a deficit or maintenance?
Fat around the waistline. Insomnia which is caused from stress which spikes cortisol and leads to more fat around the abdomen
Anything eaten in excess is not going to really lead to staying in a deficit
Did i miss the figures of grams/lb bw for carb intake?
Re listen to the video my man
I do 1g protein per lb lean bodyweight and works great, tried 2g but haven't seen any difference. I don't do gear but for such users I guess 2g or even 3g would be digestible and effective.
Most my clients are natural, those trainjng super hard need more protein for recovery
@@KubaSylvesterCielen true but depends on the individual how much protein can be utilised effectively
@@User107D well no, everyone will utilise the protein the same, your needs are dictated by your size & training intensity
How many g of carbohydrates should you take per kg of bodyweight?
You shouldn’t, it’s based of your needs really / factors like lifestyle, neat, size
Do you have a podcast Luba ?
I have a feature on think big bodybuilding media
@@KubaSylvesterCielen ok I’ll go check it out 👍🏼
Hello bro 👋
How long will it take for your teeth to settle? Does it feel uncomfortable?
Takes no time to settle and 0 discomfort… I don’t have turkey teeth haha
Thank You
Are you polish?
What about in keto and carnivour co’s ur are fat adapted u have endless energy to train and perform daily life. Carbs are fuel that runs out, fat is limitless
Excess protein is converted to glucose so fat adaption is difficult even in carnivore
endless energy 🤣
Can I have a boss burrito
What about soy chunks 🧐
I am eating tofu, vegan protein isolate and TVP, and some 5g of EAA after every meal, it’s all you need if you are vegan and only care about getting that protein in
Of course will work, most vegan meat alternatives will do fine too, however from our 8 years on a vegan diet, as long as you generally consume protein from varied sources you will be fine. No need to make sure you combine at every meal, it's more simple than you think! Train hard, make it your aim to progress your numbers in the gym with good form hitting the targeted muscles and you will grow. You absolutely can build muscle on a vegan diet
@@honestmuscle896 yeah, it’s all about consistency and discipline, training hard and with good form over many years
I mean let's say vegan diets are slightly(maybe even moderately) worse. Does this mean you would forgo your morals for the sake of building more muscle? If you really care about animals, just do the best you can with vegan food, so things like soy chunks which have all amino acids would likely be our best bet
@@Anwnssnsiziwjwwje 100%
Best way to building to be big is dirty build and lots off it u want a build off a boxer v shape warrior 3 high protein meals a day with vitamins and fish oil and skimmed milk 1 litre have u looking like a champion
If you want to get very fat with little muscle absolutely
Cream of rice is for babies mate
Were all babies I guess
Why not pork? More protein than chicken and cheaper too.
The worst quality protein you can eat, no pork for me
@KubaSylvesterCielen You are talking absolute gibberish.
@@chrisbfreelance He absolutely is, bu no point in arguing
@@chrisbfreelance lol you can literally google this stuff man 🤣🤦🏽♂️
been a vegetarian for 45 years,im 67 now-still fairly jacked body fat around 12%,sooo....its a freaking myth
People still don’t know how to eat?
Switched off after you recommend a supplement over food for a protein source. Absolutely deluded
Who didn't already know this?? Basic knowledge mate.... Protein is thermogenic, on gear? increase protein! and get sources with a full amino acid profile. I knew this the first 3 weeks of training 😂
Can you share any need-to-know information for beginning lifters?
Share your thoughts man or make a video let us know
I bet your 250 and lean too 😅
Years of gear, 🤡 how do you know this works for a normal person.
Like 1000s of my natural clients who compete and make progress…. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Why can’t you practice what you preaching.. naturally? 🤡 😂
@@KubaSylvesterCielenyou actually unhealthy 😂 I’m sure a you can’t even run for 30min to a hour without stopping ... all you body builders eat so healthy but have no cardiovascular health, kidney or liver. Limit all that knowledge just to be stuck in a building lifting weights.. how boring 🥱
You're the only clown 🤡 I bet even with gear you wouldn't look as good as him
No chicken on your protein list? Any reason mate?
He literally had turkey or chicken breast in big white letters on the screen bro
Chicken is garbage. Red meat is 🤴
Are you Polish?
Sounds like north England
