  • Euro NCAP frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car the car impact a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

    The side curtain airbag does not extend far enough forward to protect the occupants in small overlap or oblique frontal crashes

      +alexauto321 the problem is that NCAP don't test in small overlap cases, they are getting behind the Americans on this...

      +alexauto321 Not only for small overlap... it's not so rare that you hit a car not head on but with a slight angle

      thats what small overlap represents, when you try to avoid a head on collision and end up crashing headlight to headlight...

    Great car, but crash test is not very good, Kadjar suffered excessive movement of the screen pillar.

    ı think this is bad. Because kadjar colud not protect column A

    Renault was top in safety in early 2000s, now it is nothing special unfortunately, I have seen most of renault car suffer in A pillars in tests.

      This isn't a bad thing. In fact, the passenger compartment remains stable. I would even say that it provides enough strength for more severe tests.

      I dont know , but for the visual part I dont like it .Especially when I compare it with other brands which most dont deform.

      @@jimded the car has to deform to a certain point to absorp the forces from the crash.. Otherwise our bodies could suffer more.. I guess they don't give it 5 stars when it's not okay..
