    Yelling/grunting is a regular occurrence in athletic sports because your pushing your limits and not just working functional strength .

    I go to the gym and train very intense… but I try my best to not be loud…. I do grunt and shit but not super loud

      Same here, been working out for 17 years and I'm lifting serious weight. At the last reps on heavy weights it's impossible for me to not if I give it all I've got.

    Of course he never lifted heavy. He said he’s been doing the same workout he did in the 80’s. If you lift the same weight from 5 years ago, you’re doing something wrong.

    I actually remember watching a special on ESPN when I was like 12 lol do like 2003... they showed those karate guys breaking bricks screaming vs not screaming... they generated more power when screaming. I think it helped unleash more of the potential lol. Either way it helped me when I was in shape lol
