      @scourge8097 2 года назад +37

      @@WarPigs413 I presume you heard him make the statement, right?
      He's making a joke about how in Boston or...I guess anywhere, due to the costs of Unions, in a JOKING manner, he says he understands why they're manufacturing things out of this country...so as to not have to pay union prices(which sometimes include kickbacks).
      But it's like a TERRIBLE reading of that as it's a joke. But that's the sentiment.
      He sees the Union guys with their feet up, when he asks for alcohol for his room, they stock it...charge him, and then take it with them? Kinda the stereotypical New York, New England Union type guys...those things all cost more for a production of any kind and it's just a Bill Burr throwaway line.

Unions can help make sure employees are treated more fairly, but they can also make it so employees get too much, line their own pockets, and even screw over workers themselves. It is often cheaper(and easier) for a company to pay to build a factory in another country, pay employees there, and pay to have the goods shipped back to the US then it is to deal with unions.

      The sport of disc golf has grown. The commentary has been great because it has humor, roasting, trolling, combined with deep game knowledge and experience. High end graphics, follow flights, etc.. Not every commentating group does it, but several do, and it adds to the entertainment. The commentary is also coming from actual players and hall of famers who are friends with the players they roast. I hope they never change that. Tomorrow is the largest skins game, and the players will all be roasting each other during the match.
