I don't do the big fancy cross stitch kits, so I always buy floss at thrift stores. Sometimes I'll get a big bag of yarn, too, and use it to make pads for the kittens at the Humane Society .
Ooooooh yes I need that rope bunny pattern! And I def want to do the dark goddess Sal but my buying freeze won’t let me lol darn self imposed guidelines. That Star Maiden cross stitch is def going on the list
Your pup reminds me of mine! She's a pit bull/Great Pyrenees mix. She hasn't destroyed a project (yet), but she has destroyed a few skeins of floss. I'm now really careful about where I set down my supplies and WIPs, even temporarily.
Aww, that sounds really frustrating. 😥Markup R-XP (www.youtube.com/@markuprxp) have their own RUclips channel and it is FULL of tutorials for every function. They explain it better than I ever could. And they post updates whenever they upgrade the software. They also have a FaceBook group that is extremely responsive to questions. That might help, too.
The tshirt looks great 😃 I love the Christmas tree. I haven't used the variegated floss before, do you have any tips when using it? You are the only person I know who would talk about the Harder Daddy pattern in front of their mom, and then have her comment on the lily white butt. 😂
Yes, my Mom has no filter lol For the variegated / variated floss, most people do complete Xs. Does that make sense? That way, the color changes sweep across the pattern. If you do a row of half stitches and then come back and finish the row, the color on the bottom half will be different than the top half. And it's a cool effect, but a little more chaotic. Also, if you want the smoother look I just mentioned, you can do the loop start for the same reason. After folding it in half, one strand won't match the other.
Congrats on your upcoming celebration and honeymoon! But girl! I now have thirteen new gray hairs because when you said you had two finishes, I was freaking out that one would be your Pandemic (which I still have not gotten mine back out since you even started yours)! I can't help it! Squirrels! Obviously I need therapy! Haha!
Congratulations 🥂🍾 on your Anniversary 🎉 Many Blessings 🙏🙏🙏 your dog 🐕 Is Beautiful 😊 On the topic of knit companion I use Good notes that 911 Stitch show on her Floss tube any tips I only have a Apple device ✌️
Hello Stitchy-Sister ❤️ I think we were talking about a project card, so let me know if that’s not what you meant. A project card is a card with certain info written on it that you keep with your project while it’s in progress. For instance, my project cards have the name of the pattern, the designer, the fabric I’m using and a word about if I’m using the called-for colors. We also use them to help us film our Flosstube videos more smoothly. That way, watchers don’t have to wait while we try to find the info or (worse) try to remember it lol

I'm sure the Dark Goddess SAL will still be around after your spending freeze. And then you won't have to wait for the releases. It's brutal!

Hi my beautiful sisters can you explain what a pattern card is ? Never heard of this. I sure enjoy your videos.
