I’ve owned this car for 4 years and I love it. I will definitely be keeping this car for a while. It has good power and good gas mileage. Im a family man and it’s perfect for me.
this dedicated man reviewing cars without A/C. FOR THE PEOPLE. lol thank you brother great review... im thinking of trading in my 2017 malibu for a 2019 impala premier. It's a friggin great deal as you said.
I owned a 2014 Impala LT-it has been a great car. Only problem is the poor back up visablity -had to get a backup camara. This is my 4 impala- I would rate it a B+ (roomy+comfort} It has low matance and a good engine( v-6)-GREAT gas milage. Good winter car-very safe. Al. (from Canada).
I previously had 3 NEW impalas from 2001, 2002LS, 2005 Sport appearance, and I went shopping for Mid Sized ride Like the New Accord, New Sonata, Etc. I ended up on CHEVY lot right near my home. I was going to try the Malibu. Which I did and I passed this Red Tint Impala with Pano Roof and on the way back in from the Malibu test drive I went to the Impala looked and fell in love but $38K was steep. I asked for a test drive. It was end of July. As soon as I drove 10 feet then on the road I knew I wanted this car. 100% Serious. I didn’t think they would give me that much off but I was in a mood after test driving 4 other cars at other lots. The Sticker was $38K. I knew Impala was not selling well. But I still loved it and all the great awards giving to it. I asked the Salesman (Caleb, all of 22 years old) For a piece of paper. I put my offer on the paper that read $26K or I leave. I said bring this to your manager. I was ready to leave when Caleb came back to the table and showed me what the manager wrote to me. $27,200 if you buy today. I thought I was seeing things. I didn’t want to look surprised so I said $27K and they came back $27,100. I said DEAL! This was not a demo. 13 miles plus my test drive. They had the car ready in under 2 hours. Right after Lunch I picked it up with a ceramic coating with lifetime scratch and ding outside and stain or rip inside warranty. I’ve told many my story and they said they can’t get more then $4K off. I was in the right place at the right time I guess. I thought everyone was getting over $10K off new Impalas. I love the car more and more each day!
Thank you for your review. Interestingly, another interviewer noted a problem with the A/C. This is scary 😧! I’m reconsidering whether I should get this vehicle
Very nice review! We just bought a 2017 Impala Premier, and absolutely love it so far. The one we got was completely loaded (42k new) and we got it for 20k with 39,000 miles and a clean history. No AC issues knock on wood lol. I have a 2018 V6/RS Camaro as well, and I actually like driving this better sometimes. The ride quality and luxury features are so nice. Between the Cadenza and Impala which one did you prefer?
Sounds like a good deal. The impala and Cadenza ride similar but the impala looks better on the outside, huge trunk. But the Cadenza feels a little more upscale. I'm honesty not sure which I'd pick. It's truly 50/50 for me
@@LawsonsCarReviews Gotcha. Thanks for the comparison on that. It came down to these two cars when shopping, and the Impala won based on availability. Here in Michigan there aren't many Cadenzas
I feel like the Cadenza is a lot more rare. The other thing to note is Kia and Hyundai has the best warranty by far on their cars today. But it's still a tough choice
@@LawsonsCarReviews Hey, was your car made in the American Plant? Or the Canadian one? In other words, is your VIN starts with 1 ? Or is it start with 2 ? I'm just curious .
I have that exact car but a 2018. the 3 things I changed on it are tinting the windows including windshield, Got those stock 19's chromed and I swapped out the A-pillar interior trim for black.
Really nice review! I was sweating just watching! 😂 I hope the AC issue is not a common problem. I'm considering an LT trim with convenience package and confidence package. The dealer is asking 30k but it's still to expensive for me. How's the visibility out the back? The rear window looks like it has a raised deck.
The view out the back is very good even when not using the back up camera. Back up camera resolution is not the best though. Definitely a nice car. But don't bother getting one it you are gonna get the 4 cylinder. The car is too big for such a small engine and it changes the whole feel if it. I did review a 4 cylinder earlier last year
@@LawsonsCarReviews yes I didn’t believe it at first but once I drove it for awhile I definitely notice a difference in all my cars. I put it also in a 2016 Chevy Equinox ltz 2.4 and 2013 Ford Fusion se 2.5

I wouldn't mind getting one later on down the road
These would be perfect in awd
That's all this car needs. The power and smoothness is already fine

ha ha ha. I think it's a good trade up. Definitely way more car than a Malibu and they are going pretty cheap right now. Thanks for the Sub!!!

I didn't know they sold them in Canada
chevy needs to bring this back in rear wheel drive, 6 speed and an LS v8 to compete with the charger.
I'm with you. It would be nice but people just don't go and buy manuals anymore!
Hey My Car! Same color too.I have gotten so many compliments with this car. I love it. And getting over $10K off was sweet too.

You're welcome. Could be coincidence.
Love these
The LTZ with the 20" wheels is the way to go though
133,313 miles.. Ac works just fine. Have had no issues with the car. 💯 👍🏽 😎

Nice. These cars are sharp. Can get some good deals on them. Well before the Chip shortage!
Whyyy are they discontinuing them
low sales on sedans across the board. Thats why ford also are only making mustangs, suv, and trucks moving forward.

You're welcome. I approve of this car. I have driven many Impalas and own an older impala that I'll be posting a video on Friday.

It's more for people that can't buy a new one or want to compare the old Impala to the new. Different strokes for different folks as they say
I'm going to Review another one of these soon. Hopefully one where the AC works this time!

They let way more dust in your engine, wears it out faster
That could be true. Not sure though
nice review
Thanks you for the compliment
Love the car hate the steering wheel
I agree
Does this car drive smoother than the new Chrysler 300?
They seem the same to me.
I've been seeing a lot of these lately
I think the prices have dropped a lot
You wouldn’t happend to have filmed this in Missouri would you have?
Depends who's asking lol
It looks like you drive past the dunns sporting goods in Pevely

No sunroof? GM really went downhill
Lol that's an option box on these cars
Mine has a moon roof

I have a 2014 LTZ with 20 inch wheels and it's alot nicer than that one
Probably cost more than this one too though

You said it’s a 6 cylinder that’s incorrect it’s actually a V6
A v6 is an engine with 6-cylinders. A 6 Cylinder engine could technically be a straight 6, inline 6, v6 etc. It's still technically correct statement
@@LawsonsCarReviews false because there’s a difference between a 6 cylinder and a V6
You're making a statement, but not giving any insight. Very pointless unless you're going to explain your statement.
@@LawsonsCarReviews why do you think they gave em different names like a V6 and a 6 cylinder? Exactly, they’re not the same lol
Clearly you can't explain your statement, because you don't know the difference 🤦🏾♂️
