Well, that's tough to say. There have been a lot of clean hitters throughout tennis. I really think agassi still takes it. But Djokovic has such amazing balance and athleticism. I will 100% say that there is no argument that he has the cleanest hitting while on the run that his game has ever seen and it's not even close. When I think of djokovic, I'm thinking of him hitting a clean ball while sliding in a nearly full split, somehow still completely and perfectly balanced and stable through contact with the ball. No one else can do that.
@@bsrussian No, the fact that he was miles away as an overall player doesn't mean anything. When it comes to clean hitting no one tops Berdych (and i wasn't even his fan)
You can really see why Djokovic is so hard to deal with in those practice points. His shots are so deep, accurate, and consistent. And his ball retrieval is insane.
RBA has such a beautiful forehand. It's so relaxed. So much easy power. It's not as big as Del Potro's forehand, but I think it's more economical and well balanced. His backhand, on the other hand, is well, one of the great mysteries of science. It's a not a bad shot, but I have no idea how it works. Also, watching this, you can tell why Novak is the tour's apex predator right now. He wasn't in nearly the shape he is now (early 2020), and his movement was still completely next level. The game is probably much slower for him than anyone else. He has all the time in the world. Its amazing to watch.
I know the h2h record doesn't show it, but I've always had the feeling that Djokovic really hates to play against Bautista. They are very similar players and I never get the feeling that he's dominating him like it happens with every other not-big-3 player
Great video, thanks for posting. I don’t know why this particular vid did it, but it tweaked me realize the two handed backhand looks amateurish in general, like a little child wielding their dad’s hammer in the workshop trying to hammer nails tapping repeatedly, except they never grew out of it. Where Federer is like the grown man, the dad who gently takes the hammer from the child and swiftly and precisely with one hand, pounds the nail to flush as the child(spectators) grin with amazement. Same could be said of crisp precise forehand rockets of decades past compared to some of the play it safe, just get it in loopy forehands of current times. Certain people with certain skills were just a completely different level it seems in comparison.
Bautista Agut is a mistery, no idea how his backhand could work, it has no spin at all, it's flat and weird. It's true he makes a lot of mistakes, but should be almost 90% of mistakes...
19:24 what an amazing point
Thanks for a 20 minutes video!

Novak is the cleanest hitter in the history of tennis. When he is done people will finally like him.

@@bonzwah1 i'd say djokovic is the cleanest. and when hes on federers hitting is soo clean but on average yea
Thomas Berdych is by far the cleanest hitter of this last 20 years, maybe of all time.
@@khaledgueddim7807 no way. i agree hes a clean hitter but Djokovic Federer, agassi.. miles ahead there

I can't comprehend how Roberto hits his forehand. So nice
classic eastern grip, hitting up and through the ball. really easy for generating flat powerful shots with less effort and injury.
Robinson Crusoe eastern grip in classic 90s and before style

Very good volleys from Bautista Agut (6:50-8:10)
love the footwork and timing

That Wilson stick he plays with also generates a lot of power in tandem with his stroke, without a doubt.
I think RBA's forehand looks very stiff and gross, definitely an effective weapon but not very nice to watch
@@kirby4599 actually it is the opposite but you are probably not at a level you can tell when his upper and arm is relaxed or not
Great video! Thx

thank you

amazing! ,thanks for sharing this video!!
Amazing video, thanks so much
Nice to see good old 90s stroke. Eastern grip, hit at apex, hit thru the ball, nice natural follow thru
Oh that backhand of novak 🤤
I absolutely love RBA technique, especially forehand.
even the pros watch their practice on RUclips.. so Djokovic should have seen this couple o times 😅
that moment when you realise more people come to watch a men's training session then attend a women's match.....
Is Bautista agut grip the same as Federer?
it is
both Eastern
How flat is Aguts backhand almost no spin at all
7:10
why does novak let the ball go at 1:05 ?
Kyle Kelly high ball didn’t wanna overstretch so early in the practise session
Cuz Agut's return was crap...
I think that Agut is a very good sparing partner
How do they have so much pop
they’re just hitting the sweet spot all the time and the stadium helps with the pop as well lol
Forehands: Federer
Backhands: Djokovic
Scream: Nadal
Also butt-picking for Nadal.
0:00-1:40
Yeeeeeee
1:03 mistake in footwork
does djokovic has flat backhand or topsin?
Mostly topspin
@@gabrielfelipe7440 and what about bautista agut??
@@AnasKhan-sw9es full flat, but im in doubt on which grip he uses on his backhand, i thinks it's the eastern one
Djokovic’s backhand is above average in terms of topspin. But IMO he can’t generate as much topspin as Sinner or nadal on the backhand
djokovic is an amazing player who could be (shockingly) much much better with a more mechanically consistent and reliable serve.

Djokovic > Bautista
Djokovic is better

They both wore themselves out by practicing like this.
What do you even mean
What do you think Training is? Relaxing?
