- Join me as I search for treasure in the yard of an old castle in France. I don't find too much, but I do take the time to explain my techniques and try to teach some important "how to" tips and tricks of the hunt.

Interesting and informative. You are a kind and conscientious guy.Much appreciated.
You should run a metal detecting boot camp. Obviously, it is far more complicated than it looks. Ten weeks oughta do it. Fascinating.
Love to see that you are still making videos. Keep up the good content and finding amazing things!!!

You the Man!
My grandfather Used to call Wellingtons "Gum Boots" - :) Pretty Old School...
Areas where armies of the past camped, old roads and around bodies of water are all great sites to detect. Horses needed water, so bodies of water are great sites for finding relics.
Boot in French is démarrage, just so you know aquachigger! Love the videos by the way!
4:43 wow a spoon handle that will have much history
Cool video!
This super ride in Europe, too bad you did not come out of coins, I'm sure the fields at the bottom of the house you will reserve beautiful surprises if you had the time and authorization, can be a next time ! Good luck and thank you for your videos.
The metal detector sounds like the chicken you can squeeze at the store😂
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
That little piece of metal looked like to me a name tag on a bicycle....
nice channel I subscribbled
keep on keepin on
Love your educational vids. Now if I could just afford to upgrade from my old Radio Shack detector to something a little more able...
Here in Tucson and the Sonoran desert in general, pottery and broken glass and China are big il red flags I look for when scouting sites. Especially along the Santa Cruz. Pottery and glass was the plastic of the last century. It usually means there was good activity at the right time for there to be goods. Also old miner gear, like steel cans and classifiers.
You have a very calming voice
Hi Beau, thanks for all your great videos, how do you get on regarding the detecting laws in france as I understood that detecting the beach was ok, but inland was a no go,
Im interested because I take most of my holidays there & always take my detector.
Have you ever tried any of the Garrett line of products? I own the AT Gold Edition and it is by far the most versatile and deepest penetrating detector I own.
I have watched this video like a billon times😂😂❤️❤️
then why doesn't it have a billon views
also don't you mean billion?
Hi Beau,
I wonder how much silver is in that field.. Please keep us informed. Looking forward to watching it.
On a side note. I found my first gold bracelet last week with my Mine-lab. Its 10K, not worth much, but its gold..
Bryan Fl
You are the best
Will you be anywhere near the south of France next week? Im going there for a little holiday, and would love to meet you!

just save your money.
Nice to see your using the T2 :) Do you always use the discrim mode or do you hunt in fullmetal mode also sometimes?
Looks like Somerset in the south west of England - not far from my place :)
It's in France it looks like the northern part maybe from my experiences
I hope Lindsey (splg) had a good time, she was pretty quiet in the background.
Now! When ur ready do more river treasure hunting!
What a find. Old French junk. What a find!!!
Hey Beau I was wondering if you had any gopros, knives, or fishing stuff you have found in the river that you are willing to sell since I have gotten money for my birthday the past week
what type of detector do you recommend for begginers
Sometimes great expectations don't pan out. Interesting though.
When are you coming to jersey?
random comment i know, but your wife has BEAUTIFUL hair!
Why did this video go unlisted?
Why do you eliminate the iron?
Why couldn’t the detector work in low discrimination but have a high pass filter for the sound that filters out the low frequency sounds?
+DiamondXman in spain there was a civil ear too 1936-1939
oh no your 3rd hand fell off!!!😂
If you ever come to spain pls let me know

We have several teen age detectorists in our little community here on you tube. I think it is great that you are interested.
Hooked on History, Depths of History and Metal Detecting Iowa are all teenagers. JD's variety and Nugget are early twenties that started out the hobby as teens. I am sure any one of them would all be happy to talk to you about the hobby from a young person's point of view. They are all great young men.
Who was that lady at 1:00
I laughed when you said septic tank because Europeans usually refer to us as "septic tanks," a derogatory term. Just thought it was a coincidence.
+Aquachigger I love your videos
Have you ever watched BBC sitcom The Detectorist. It's very funny.
Wish they would have a few more episodes.
Did you go to spain or are you going to go?
+Aquachigger hey do you still have the phone I was wondering if I could have one plz🙂
W
On 2.29 it looks like a face in the window

do you prefer metal detecting in Europe as oppose to the US?
It's a completely different game.
Xavier Kientz Europe has been inhabited longer, so it has more valuable and older items

+Aquachigger Ok cool see us
+Alpaca Creed ya
Look in the window
You are in France ?
+Aquachigger Oh I'm french and I loveeeeee your video continue like that ( I'm using google translate ^^ )
No he was in Africa
In spain you'll find lots of bullets from our civil war and artillery shells, big ones
+Black hawk derribado Um the civil war was in america...
+DiamondXman he said "our", referring to the French revolution
+DiamondXman idiot
+ray minazzi Excuse me, why would the French revolution be fought in Spain?
+Long Weng didn't realize he said Spain, but. After revolutionary forces executed French Bourbon king Louis XVI in 1793, Spain joined Britain and other European powers in a war against France. The following year France invaded Spain and ravaged its northern provinces, occupying Bilbao and San Sebastian. After initial Spanish resistance, Godoy admitted defeat.
