Thank you @farahkhorramvatan for your comment. Please, make sure you are NOT exercising with (or through) pain. If these exercises are not helping, I would recommend an in-person visit with your Physio or Doctor, to determine why? Once your knee is feeling better, these exercises can help keep it that way. Please Stay Safe 🙏
Thank you for your reply! Achieving a straighter knee (as well as, more bend) is a critical 1st step & needs to be maintained. If you have this motion, please see my other videos which works your entire leg region 👍 STRONGER HIPS: ruclips.net/video/Ym4mB6LprYM/видео.html STRONGER ANKLES: ruclips.net/video/p2_R05egOQc/видео.html
Hello @olawumibenson7836. I am sorry but I did not mention Magnesium in my video. However, I can say that Magnesium is important for many regulatory functions: maintaining normal blood pressure, helping to control blood sugar levels, making protein to help muscle growth, and keeping our bones strong. Make sure to check with your medical team, for they can measure your Magnesium level & recommend a supplement if needed! Stay Safe!!
Thank you for your reply @sophiamary7962 . . . I'm sorry you're in so much pain, and I would definitely advise an In-Person Evaluation with your Physician. Once they determine why you're struggling, a PT can manually (hands on care) get the swelling mobilized and under control. Then regaining flexibility & strength is essential. I hope this helps & Stay Safe!
I was wondering if one could over strengthen the quad and not be in balance with the glute. In your rehab were you working on your glute also? I love that toe tip. I always flex them.
Thanks for your comment @stanscher1588! Usually, our goal is weight bearing exercises that work several key muscle groups simultaneously (e.g. glutes, quads, calves), ultimately important for functional activities (e.g. walking without limping). It's best to mix in "isolating exercises" (this video was primarily a Quad isolator) with "multiple muscle group" exercises. I am currently working on a video that trains your whole leg and improves walking strength & endurance - stay tuned & Great Question!! Thank you
