    Thank for the awesome review! Is the mares Sirius hard to read in terms of brightness? Looks kind of dimmed

    • @TeachMeToDive
      @TeachMeToDive  6 дней назад

      That was my main issue with this computer or either of the Mares products we reviewed. We also reviewed the Quad Air 4. While I liked a lot of the features of this computer, how well it worked, my biggest issue was it's brightness. I was also not impressed that it had no features (other than time and date) as a daily wear. For going in and out of deco, time, depth, NDL, etc. it does well, but, again, tough for me to see in lower light situations.

      Many SSI shops, that sell the Mares products, offer the "Computer Diving" Certification that can help you a lot :_)

    I know a dude that the bracelet separate from the watch during dive, maybe when taking gear out in water. Any tip on how to have redundancy on keeping the watch on your arm?

    • @TeachMeToDive
      @TeachMeToDive  Месяц назад

      interesting question. The first consideration is to wear a redundant computer first. Even, just adding a manual SPG is better than nothing. Next, a good inspection of the gear you are wearing prior to diving can help for sure. I also see divers crank their computers down, really tightly. All this really does is add additional wear and tear to the rubber straps. Another solution for many computers is to continuous bungee instead of a strap (if that is an option for the computer). This is very durable for sure.

    Hi, regarding 10:05 about GF and SurfGF. I found the information in manual that if you go into complications display by holding MODE during the dive then you can cycle information in the bottom right corner and you can view Main GF, GF now/GFsurf, O2, CNS, PP02, TOD, Batt, Batt Transmitter and RMV :) @teachmetodive
