Hey there Lisa .. hope all is well with you, you’re enjoying life and you are staying safe. Another great and easy video with a deeelsih ending. Sorry I’ve been away, been very very ill as the fight continues to get harder. Looking forward to more vids, keep ‘em coming. Until then, happy cooking. Kevin🎗
Oh Lisa, I knew you could help me! I've had my New Ninja Food Smart Lid for a couple of years and didn't ever try the steam crisp method. I knew I could count on you. Hope you are well. Thank you for helping me out!😀
I live alone, but I steam crisp 4 at a time because once the potatoes are cooled, you can wrap them in foil or plastic wrap and freeze them! I cut my potato in half, longways, then scoop it out into a bowl, add butter, chives, and mild cheddar then mash it and re-stuff the potato halves, add more cheese & chives on top, and hit it with a minute or so in the microwave to make a twice "baked" potato.
Hi Lisa! I made 3 bakers in the older model on steam for 30 min with 1 cup water (should have used more, maybe1/2c more), then I did 30 min on air crisp and they came out great! I'd still love to get the newer model "One Lid", may be a while!! Hope you read this, keep up the good work! Take Care!
I air fry my potato’s @400 for 50 minutes with oil and course kosher salt on the outside. They are perfect cooked this way. How do these compare considering the steam knocked off all the salt, which I love when eating the skins?
Nice! Thanks for sharing this! I will make steamed crisped potatoes for dinner along a meatloaf and steamed broccoli. Serving potatoes with some sour cream & chives. Way too much grease with all that butter for me lol But looks delish!
I imagine you could use the older model to steam first and then Air Crisp...will have to play with timing, any thoughts on the timing? Love your videos! Take Care!!
I picked up the 12 inch for travel wish I had the 16 when I had friends visit. I have the propane only model once again wanted the wood burning too but price and couldn't use it in certain parts of country last year. And can't use it at the condo-so when I pick up my little trailer the end of the month I plan on using it on my overnight camping trips. And I think the 12 was 300-400 dollars if I remember correctly. And it can do more than pizza which is pretty cool. Thanks holysmokes63!
man that looks really really good I love potatoes but I'm not aloud to eat em anymore 😞😢 one day while your playing around with your one lid think you can do a diabetic dish for me and all the others here and in the group be safe and have a great weekend (if I don't see ya on here or fb before hand)
Disgusting!! Your putting your potato right over the drain of your sink?? One of many reasons I hate eating at people's homes because I just don't know what kind of sense they have when preparing food in the kitchen!

Great tips Earl! Thank you!
Yummy! I love the skins too.
Best part! Thanks Sandra!
That's awesome.... that looks soo good....sour cream.... I can't wait. I've got two Ninja's but might look to get this new one-lid kinda intrigued.
Hi Earnie, so far really enjoying the new one lid. Oh I forgot sour cream. Thanks!
This would be great for a baked potato bar, or making tons of potatoes for a twice baked potato casserole (hmm, might have to make this for Easter)!
That is a fantastic idea! Thanks Caitlin!
Loved your demo!
That’s impressive Lisa!! I going to try to be good for a while before I get one🥰🥰
Don't blame you -I do wonder how they will improve this in August-they alway s come out with new appliances that month. Thanks Stephanie!
Oh my God we're so much alike you use the same amount of butter and pepper that I love!
Luv both! Thanks M Miller!

Hi Jeanne. Thank you for this. When I get out of work tonight I’m going to try this. Thanks!
That ninja its the best i love it .... its a little expensive but it,s worth it ...
So true- I know I said it’s a bit pricey in earlier vids but it’s worth the money after using if almost everyday for the last few weeks.
Thanks Jesus!
Keep on playing......! I like baked potatoes......
I luv potato anything Earnie-they are just so good!
Im surprised that the water doesnt boil out. Is that because its an enclosed system ?

Looks very tasty. May I ask, when you use the round silicone mats what is the reason? I saw you use them and ordered. Thank you. Love your videos.
Hi Janice- just to prevent scratches. Thank you for purchasing. Thanks Janice!

You can steam crisp with the thermometer set to 200 on the manual setting - no guessing.
Thanks Carl.
i was thinking about a baked potato today..I know whats for lunch tomorrow lol
Hi Celle, perfect for lunch-you can dress it up or keep it simple.
Can’t wait til you use the Onni pizza oven. Would like to buy one but not sure if its worth 600 bucks.

I'm going to try this, if you have the 2 lid ninja how long to steam and crisp?
I have more potatoes- I will give it a try tomorrow- off tomorrow. Thx vicki
I tried it! Air crisped after for about 5-10 min as we like our skins crispy!
@@vickifitzgerald9209 Did you like it?
@@pressurecrisp We like it better than baked inside was fluffier
I Made your recipe for zucchini crisps today! Husband and I ate all of them for lunch today! Delicious! Love your videos.

Thanks Peg-I can do some diabetic recipes.
Wow It was nice but why did it take 50 minutes for 1 potato It would seem it would take less time
I do believe it’s because we steamed instead of pressure cooking. That would be my guess!
💞👼🏻💐
Yum
Thx Lisa!
Another fantastic video! I have some baby potatoes I’m going to steam crisp, and looking forward to it!
Your gonna enjoy them Tonya- thanks!!
You probably got the green potatoes at Kroger.....LOL
Publix of all places- lol. First time ever there.
