Yes, me and other cars that you see on the video are trespassing. We also have +30 degrees atm and not -5 covered in snow. If you gonna watch the very first James Bond tonight, it gonna take you back to the 1960s. Time Machine hax!

Absolutely impressive to see that oil temp not even touching 120c, maybe not even 110c on a hot day, pushed to the limit by Misha. Very nice!

This must be one of the very few M2 CS with carbon ceramics..they would hold up perfectly on the GP track as well
Nice video , enjoyed ! I remember when the M2 CS was released , that is not worth it . Then it won many awards in the automotive world with the most insane one being the EVO car for the year 2020. Im glad you tried it , i hope you will get into a manual one also and tell us your thoughts !

Incredible skill the way the front is running wide towards the grass and you floor the accelerator pedal when we all would be looking for the brake pedal
I’m just watching the fuel gauge go down quicker while queuing to get off the track than it was doing the lap itself

Yes he was going very fast plus he’s not pushing 100% he needs to keep them safe. These like to step out it seems
What a lap
I see this M2 has rubber foot pedals. I didn't realize that was standard on the M2 unless you option out aluminium ones. Why would BMW do that? Are rubber ones better for aggressive driving?
So the owner can either go with BMW metal ones or another brand like Dinan. It’s smart marketing. Rubber ones tend to not slip off the foot when wet where metal is much easier to do so.

OK the design is something divisive, what does not please me may please 5 others, but 1T800kg and wide as a truck, a dashboard made for selfie and instagram fans, it's BMW's new take on a sports car.
You know the "Holidays on ice" show, take a new M2, disconnect the electronic aids, and go skate a little on the Ring.
For sure you will have a lot of fun to use all the track...i repeat, all the track...the grass, trees,barriers, etc...etc... ;-)))))

Feels kinda boaty like it's all over the place, not the precision I would expect in an M2. Maybe it was the temperature like misha said, or maybe the suspension is too stiff and can't take the ring's bumps
BMW's have been getting fat the last two decades, even with all the carbon fibre the M2 CS weighs 1550kg.
The car looked really unstable.
I had a 140, 450hp, Bilstein coil overs, full m4 arms, quaife LSD, the works.
It was mega, really quick. But I think the narrow chassis is the limitation. Ot needs to be a wider platform
In an automatic car should you get used to using two feet? Or is this only generally for racing?
It is only meant for track and/or professional use. So far I know it helps to keep balance of weight distribution of the car while turning and it also can be used to keep the turbo spooled up to reduce turbo lag for quicker corner exit.

Most importantly it is about lap times. Every time you need to switch pedal otherwise, it would take a few tenths of a second to switch pedal. It is then time lost doing nothing which can otherwise be used to brake later or accelerate.

The turbos are always slightly spooled up for better response, higher fan speed for the engine cooling. Sport is kind of more smoother but I guess its good for track. I have never tracked my m2 and thats why was curious.
They should have waited for the 2023 model
