Wow. Gorgeous bag!! Thank you for your honest review! I have a couple of Brahmins which I love, BUT I totally get what you mean. You must baby these! If I am out with one when it rains? I use my umbrella to cover the bag...forget about my hair getting messed up. Lol Yeah, it is not for your every day casual handbag -- it is more for a day when you want that particularly chic sophisticated polished look. Too bad it is so delicate -- the Jag of bags, haha. I wish Brahmin used a heavier protective coating on their bags because they are gorgeous. As for Coach? I have a large collex of them from years ago when their quality was very good, but their prices now are way overblown imho compared to what their bags are really worth. Yes I am a Career Woman, and my total collection of mid priced designer bags past and present is well over 3 digits. I started to exhaust styles from other designers and talk about Older Lady Bags, frankly they were boring me to death. I started collecting Brahmin bags due to their beautiful colors, and unconventional leather patterns. I currently own over 40 pieces, misc styles and colors and find them very exciting. I do not baby my bags and I have yet to have any of them fail in anyway. No pealing of handles has been observed on any of my Brahmins. I disagree with your opinion of this brand and recommend them to anyone of any age. I can assure you that physically youth is fleeting, however at my advanced age of 60, my mental age is still youthful. God willing, you willl live to be older and discover this is true.
Me either. I mostly own brahmins. I have well over 30. I have NEVER had peeling, and I don't baby my bags either. Any bag you carry for 6 mos straight will show wear. I have vintage pieces as well.
