Hi Sam! We have missed you and your wonderful handbag videos 😃💗…..as a professional designer myself, I fully agree with you on all that you have stated here! …I had one client who told me her husbands sister was considering purchasing a dupe/non authentic designer bag, she said her husband told his sister, “would you want a ‘dupe doctor or dentist that looked like one, was cheaper but not the real thing?!😅😮😂
So happy to have you back. Totally agree with you about the roll out LV did. And I agree with you on points regarding the wirkin. Such a non issue for Hermes. You take care nice to have you back 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Sam so glad to see you again! I know you had some health issues after the delivery and I’m so happy you’re feeling better. I hope you are loving being a mom. You look beautiful as always!
Welcome back, Sam! I know that you had such a tough time with all of your post partum complications. Wishing you a much smoother year this year. As usual, I agree with all of your takes. Looking forward to your future videos ❤
Great to see you back. Love your bag videos💕. Wishing you healing and happy baby moments in 2025. I did not order any pieces, not a vip. I have several original Murakami bags and prefer the older styles and quality.
Welcome back! So fun to see you. I thought the Hermes 60 minutes piece was great. (My husband actually enjoyed it too.) I haven’t gotten anything from the new Murakami drop but I did pick up a vintage piece. Looking forward to seeing more videos! 🩷🩵💙💛💚
Welcome back! I totally agree with everything you said. The LV release was very poorly handled (obviously!), and while some things might have been done intentionally to create scarcity/hype, I don’t think that explains the lack of packaging, which is inexcusable in my opinion. ❤
Yea!!!! 🎉 I am so glad you are back! Wishing you good health and continued healing… looking forward to seeing what fabulous things are in store for 2025!
Welcome back! Hope all is well. I have a LV xTM multicolor bag purchased in 2009/2010, i couldn’t get anything from the new collection but there were couple of newer styles I liked. Agree with u on the Wirkin. These fake bags have been around for decades and supposedly are multi billion $$ industry. People who buy the real thing would still cont to buy them
So lovely to have you back Sam. I’m sorry your entry into motherhood was made harder with health issue and I hope both you and your son are healthy and well. The Murakami roll out was a circus 🤡
Thank you! We are doing so much better now. And yes it was a disaster which makes no sense for a big brand that has done many sought after product launches!
Welcome back Sam! Happy to hear you are better and getting back into things. I totally agree about both issues! Even if they totally underestimated how big Murakami would be, they knew how much they were producing so no excuses for taking preorders they couldn’t fulfill! (Although hanging on to that cash for even a day, they would’ve made a fortune in bank interest alone). As for fakes, I got curious while watching, what are your thoughts on so called “dupes”? I know alot of people justify getting a dupe as long as it doesn’t have the “logo” but I personally have always thought, if it looks the same it’s a fake. Admittedly I’ve bought dupes before but I ended up never using them as it felt wrong so I no longer waste my money on them. No judgement, just personal preference. ♥️♥️♥️
I think there is a fine line between dupe and replica/ fake and it’s really hard to distinguish. To be a true replica/fake the item usually has the same stamping (so like would say Hermes on it) or the trademarked logo or pretend to have an authentic date code. The problem is that some more complex aspects of these bags have other IP protections making some of the dupes still infringing works. So I just basically draw the line at handbag dupes and replicas aren’t for me
New to your channel, but glad that you are improving. A new baby, health issues, a high powered career and yet, after a short break you are back on RUclips? That is some impressive bandwidth, girl. I salute you. Agree with your analysis of the LV launch. This is my bias, but it seems that many corporations are reaching an unsustainable level of fiduciary duty, wherein they pinch those nickels until the buffalo roars, for shareholders. In all of this, it is the consumers who suffer, as quality in all aspects of the business declines. It is up to us to tell the corporation when enough is enough, by walking away. Having said this, I think they did underestimate the demand, because those in top management are out of touch, but they also saw several quarters of slowdown in the luxury market, so they did not want to overextend. I think they will keep producing pieces, and they certainly pushed FOMO into the outer limits. And now, today, I will get in my car and drive 45 minutes to the LV store, to pick up the bag I ordered in store on launch day. It is the CarryAll PM. If I decide I don’t absolutely love it, I will return it.
Thank you! It can get a bit crazy over here but I have a great husband and great friends and family who have helped so much! I think your so right- the shareholder has become more than the customer and it’s a problem. I hope you love it the piece you preordered and you get all the packaging! 🤞🏻
@ Hey. I got my piece, no special packaging whatsoever. Got to chat with my CA for a bit. She said she was the recipient of a lot of grief, poor thing. She said in her experience, it is the rich clients who are nice, but some of the aspirational were truly angry. She said I got in at the very tail end, snagging one of the last items online. For the ones after me, LV corporate told them to refund their money. There is no more inventory.
Welcome Back! I would never buy a branded fake, though I don't mind unbranded similars. Having said that, it is utterly crazy to think that buying an item from WALMART (of all places!!!!) is a blow for capitalism! Walmart! Personally, I think that the management team at Hermes is rubbing its hands together gleefully, whatever they might be saying to Walmart through their lawyers! This will be selling a lot of ancillary products for them, perfumes etc to people who can only afford a Wirkin but want so real Hermes as well. I did seriously consider the Noir LV Toiletry 26. I decided against it partly because it had silver hardware and I like gold with the black Murakami print and as a very very minor client, I knew I didn't have a hope given how huge the demand was. I am relieved now! The tarra-diddle-dee-dee would have annoyed me! I accept payment in advance for an in demand item. But I do demand that in return the item I have paid them for will be delivered. A delay I would put up with. Cancellation would have enraged me! Thank you for another fabulous video!
Yes Walmart! Like the epitome of capitalism 🤣 and I agree the black multicolor would have been superior with gold hardware. Not sure why so many things have had silver hardware lately 🤷🏼♀️
The packing to me was wild. When I was selling my leather goods, I ordered packing at the same time in the same number as the product. My thinking is there might have been supply chain issues which has been a problem for many brands. When I got my order it did come with ribbons and stickers which was nice. I don’t buy replicas myself anymore ( I did in high school/college) but I’m not against them or dupes either. To be fair, this Walmart Birkin (from what I understand) is a dupe not a replica which means its not some shadowy company that produced it. All these companies though (luxury, fast fashion and replica companies) are very much a part of capitalism so I definitely agree buying the wirkin isn’t really in protest of anything. I really enjoyed your video! I liked and subbed❤ I have a channel too, would love for you to stop by❤
I would be so upset if I preordered a bag, paid for it and then didn’t get it. The idea of preordering is so that you’re assured the bag……or so I thought.😖
Have we forgotten the scandal of dior where it showed the conditions of workers who make their bags? At the end of the day, hermes, chanel, and LV are trying to keep their items exclusive to a certain tax bracket. The Walmart version of the Birkin is a dupe. There is no Hermes branding at all. I personally wouldn't buy a replica but there are some pieces I've seen in store that make me think "did a toddler make this bag?"
Yes I couldn’t remember which brand it was (mom brain) but I think most production factories need improvements. I just think the improvements are more likely to come from the bigger brands than the companies producing fakes.

Thank you dear for taking us along. Can't wait what the *yutulu* queen picked up at Fendi
Welcome back, Sam! I know that you had such a tough time with all of your post partum complications. Wishing you a much smoother year this year. As usual, I agree with all of your takes. Looking forward to your future videos ❤
His *yutulu* tote is beautifully colored, very sturdy and the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. I look forward to joining my rotation.
Welcome back!! Enjoyed hearing your thoughts here!
Thank you! Excited to be back.
Great to see you back. Love your bag videos💕. Wishing you healing and happy baby moments in 2025. I did not order any pieces, not a vip. I have several original Murakami bags and prefer the older styles and quality.
Thank you! And yes I agree nothing beats the quality and style of the older bags!
So nice to see you back.🥰 I know you’ve had your challenges but am so happy to see you again.❤️🙏
So glad you’re back!
Welcome back!😘😘
So good seeing you Sam! Welcome back beautiful! 🥰
Glad to have you back Sam. Wishing you all the best as you get back up to speed.
Thank you!
Congrats 🎉

Thank you! And yes the 60 minutes piece was well done. I think it appealed to a lot of people- not just the luxury buyer.
Yay! You're back! :)
I am happy to be back!

Was in Paris when it launched and the packaging only included a cute sticker.
Good to see you back! I’m looking forward to your 2025 videos.

I am so glad you are back. I much prefer the vintage multicolor. I have no interest in fakes. I won't even watch a video about the Walmart Birkin.
I am happy to be back! And I agree I also have no interest!
Nice to see you back. Wishing you good health for the rest of 2025 💜
