Very happy memory of a family visit to Lynton and Lynmouth when we holidayed in Devon when I was a child. It was Mom and Dad's favourite part of the UK. Enjoyed by Millionaire Paul 👌
Hi both great video again scary roads lol lovely sea I like the narrator so funny 🤣 great bargain with your coat Chris love your horse walking stick u both take care look forward to where u both are going nxt Clare x🇬🇧❤️
Hi Clare! Chris loves his walking stick. We always look for unusual ones in the charity shops 😂. Thank you again for your comments as we do want to know what you think, even when we goof up 😂 Have a good week!! ♥️💙💜
Great one guys, a very beautiful part of the world. I remember porlock hill from many years back, my brakes were smelling when I got down the bottom, obviously very hot! 😆 xx
You wouldn't want to come down those winding roads on a dark foggy day that's for sure. 🤣🤣 Yeah you defo having a few tech issues. But hey, at least you soldiered on. 😉
Thank you Gareth! One day we will have an issue free vlog 😂. The fog was really thick!! Winter is on its way. Thank you so much for hanging in with us. We appreciate it! ♥️
JEEEEZ THAT TOLL ROAD LOOKS TERRIBLY NEGLECTED. I LAST DROVE MY OLD CAR ALONG THAT TOLL ROAD IN 1958, BECAUSE IT FAILED TO GET UP PORLOCK HILL, AND I HAD TO TURN AROUND. I WOULDN'T RISK IT TODAY.
WE DID DRIVE VERY SLOWLY. THE ROAD WAS A BIT NEGLECTED BUT THE SCENERY WAS PROBABLY STILL THE SAME 😁. IT PROBABLY HASNT CHANGED SINCE IT WAS PAVED. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING AND I HOPE IT BROUGHT BACK GOOD, NOT BAD MEMORIES 🥰
I think you are getting the Worthy Tollroad mixed up with what is now called and advertised as the Scenic Tollroad. The latter is a lot wider, but still has a lot of hairpins. The Worthy Tollroad is really so narrow that it is only suitable for small cars. I passed over both tollroads in 2017 and really enjoyed both. This year I went on an open topped double-decker Coaster bus up Porlock Hill and down Countisbury Hill, and back. Again wonderful! Also up the Cliff Railway, and then walked to the Valley of the Rocks and back along the cliffs with their herds of Wild Goats. Great day out. I can't for the life of me understand why the Worthy tollroad could be called 'neglected'. It's just narrow, windy and scenic. The local estate has to pay for the maintenence of that road, which has very little traffic and revenue. So it is what it is!
Thank you for the clarification and for the recollection! It seemed a bit neglected simply because certain parts were a bit pot holey 😁. I think they had retarmacked some of it. But as you said, so beautiful and so worth it. We absolutely love that part of our country. Again, thank you. 😊
I can imagine the roads you actually drive Desmond on! 😂 we're only in our small car 😂. Thanks for the feedback, we do appreciate it! I wasn't too keen, but still went for it as it took so much time to edit. Live and learn 😂♥️

You should see some of the roads we play one LOL. Not keen on the narrator you could do a voice over on the edits with poor audio.
