    So helpful Lisa! I’m overwhelmed by brushes, and basically just use my fingers 😁

  • @stacylbrewer

    I used to always use my fingers and those small generic sponges that came with the eyeshadow palettes. Now I am OBSESSED with makeup brushes. It has really helped me "up" my makeup game. Thanks for sharing your favorites. You got me into the Rephr brushes and I LOVE THEM so much! I also really love my BK Beauty brushes. Thanks, Lisa! 💜💕❤

    Hey Lisa. Thanks so much for this video. Most of these brands of brushes are not readily available where I live but, it was so helpful to see the different shapes, close up.

    Oh wow how cool you have the rephr brushes to show. I was wondering what the 5 new ones are. Do you know what date they are being released? I have just started buying beautiful brushes for myself at 55 & loving the way my makeup goes on. Sonia G, BK beauty & Rephr are my faves so far. Thanks for the recommendations 😘

    • @LisaMonique
      @LisaMonique  2 года назад +2

      They are being released I think on the 21st and I think there will be a 50% discount on the set. But for the holidays I will also be offering some discounts. Then they might release them individually in the concept score for 40% off

    Thanks so much for explaining the shapes and their uses. This was so helpful. I now know I need to switch my bronzer and blush brushes. LOL My favorite brand of brush (currently ) is Real Techniques. I have some ELF brushes that I like too but RT brushes are my favorites. I also now know why I don't like the brush I am using for concealer - it's the wrong shape. What a shame, I'll have to go shopping. :)

    Hi Lisa, I love watching videos on what brushes you use and you explain it so well. Rephr brushes are so good, can’t wait to see the new 5 they are releasing soon. Do you have a video on how and what product you use to spot conceal those hyperpigmentation spots. I get so frustrated trying to find something or maybe theirs a technique I don’t know about.❤

    • @LisaMonique
      @LisaMonique  2 года назад +1

      This video covers how i cover spots now with concealer. My fav concealers for coverage are L’Oréal Infallible, Elf Hydrating Camo concealer, Pat McGrath skin Fetish, and Jouer Essential High Coverage concealer ruclips.net/video/ZSucLMrIpp4/видео.html

      @@LisaMonique thank you, off to watch the video. Just watched it, boy that’s the best I’ve ever seen, no one ever shows how to do it. Really appreciated you showing all the details. I’ve been doing everything wrong, yup I’m the one who didn’t let the paint dry.👏👏🥰 Your techniques really work cause I can’t hardly see any pigmentation on your face, looks gorgeous.

    Thanks for this one! I used fingers for so long and started playing with brushes around age 50 (just turned 67 - yikes! 😂). I say “playing” because I’m never really pleased with most of the ones I’ve bought, whether they’re expensive or on the cheap side. I just really was in the dark. This cleared things up tremendously and I see now that the ones I didn’t like were simply the wrong shapes and types. While I love all of your videos, this one has left me knowing exactly what I need and want to look for. Thank you!!!

    Wow Lisa! I was literally researching brushes before I head to Ulta/Target. Great topic. Thanks. I am partial to IT brushes. BTW I am also left handed.🙂...I'm back from Ulta. I got an IT Heavenly Lux #22 Foundation Brush, Bare Minerals Angled Perfecter Brush, Elf Domed Stipple Brush and a Real Techniques Eye Brush Set. Now I need to make myself promise to take care of them better.

    Lisa, may I ask you a makeup question please?. Do you agree that depending on the type of makeup that is applied to one's face, that you can look good, OR, not so good. Thank you.

    • @LisaMonique
      @LisaMonique  Год назад +1

      Absolutely. AND I have had make up that I thought looked good in my bathroom and it looked TERRIBLE in natural light. I pretty much apply my make up is the same way, I only change up the brands sell. It definitely was the brand. And I’ve had good and bad high-end, and good and bad drugstore.

    I am buying Seint makeup and wondered if I should just stick with the Seint brushes or can I use some of your other recommendations listed here e.g., BK Beauty brushes?

    • @LisaMonique
      @LisaMonique  2 года назад +1

      I have both lol. I like the Saint make up brushes I think they are densely packed and work well with the cream make up. But I am not a fan of the eye brush.

    • @susanpeters579
      @susanpeters579 2 года назад

      @@LisaMonique Thank you. I'm really on the fence to give Seint a try, but I haven't found a decent foundation and even more difficult to find, a concealer for my "mature" skin. I've watched so many videos. Do you think Seint is worth a try or should I stick to traditional foundation/concealer combo and what do you recommend?

    • @LisaMonique
      @LisaMonique  2 года назад +1

      @@susanpeters579 Seint is lovely and I have recommended to my personal friends. It is very natural but you will need to set to make sure it lasts all day and you have to avoid touching your face with cream makeup! It's also better for normal to dry skin,

    • @susanpeters579
      @susanpeters579 2 года назад
