One relaod rule that gets a lot if people is in the open with surprises targets. Only leagal reload is from slide lock after you leave the position of cover. If you start your relaod while still behind cover you must finish it before you cross the fault line. Once you cross the fault line the only reload you can do is from slide lock.
It's been a while since I shot idpa and planning to do it again next month..¡ thought I have to empty mags first until the slide locks until I can reload?? Is that correct??
@@PaulGee I wish I still had video of it lol - happened at an indoor match in San Diego- many many primers ago 😬 Fred briefly explained it to me right before a stage- not the best time to attempt it - required clicking your heels 3 times while exchanging two mags with 1 hand 👠 .. or Something like that 😂😂 Have Fred explain it in Sunday 🤙🏼🖤

Depends. As long as you behind cover, whatever you feel is easiest. But exposed to targets, then yes, run dry first.
Good luck at your match. Let me know how you do!
Where did you get the vest

Thanks for the video,... i am pretty sure you are tilting the pistol at 45 degrees not 5 LOL
Goal is 5 in my head. But thank you for reminding me how much work I still need to do.
You didn't demonstrate a Shelby reload
I am positive our new shooters would love to learn more about the shelby! Please share!

I have never tried again..😂
