This triggers my PTSD from WT auf E100 in WoT... if anyone knows what I'm talking about.
I feel you bro =( Glad its gone!
Letian Gu si hear this is gonna be a new tier 8 prem
Letian Gu don't worry because WG is putting it back in the game :))
No because WoT sucks
I once ran into a 3 man platoon of WT Auf E 100s... I still have nightmares...
There is flakturm and AA-bunkier in Wroclaw (three of them) One is museum of modern art, second is part of hospital and last one is now unused. One more is in Gdynia near by old u-boot base. Now it is part of Navy Museum I think (not sure).
Great video BTW
Those are not flakturms, just air raid shelters.
I absolutely love your content, please keep with what your doing
Thanks a lot. I appreciate your support :-D
PLASMO - plastic models are you planning to build the 1:700 Scale german pocket battleship "Admiral Graf Spee"?
you are absolutely very good at painting and withering . you are the 1st do i love to see from the beginning to thy end. BRAVO !!
I was about to comment that you put too much rust on them, but during the final shot, I saw that you fixed that. Great job!
Looks like something from 40k
UPDATE: There are even more hilarious kits by this brand like Rheintochter 1 Rocketlauncher or V1 Starting Ramp based on E50/E75/E100 chassis.
Like somekind of crazy Dual Barreled Basilisk on a Ragnarok chassis?
The Pandora Guy lol, that's the first thing I thought about when I started the video.
Gervis Prantl it is a star destroyer I now star wars like the palm of my hand
Haha its already kinda late and i have a test tomorrow, i should go to sle... *New Video* well. Fuck sleep i guess!
I just know that you are going to ace this exam because you are awesome, good luck to you!
PLASMO - plastic models lol, thanks very much!
@@mrbordmechaniker 3 years later did you pass?
The Finished model is just unbelievable, It looks so scale, like you've actually shrunken the real thing (well, paper panzer I suppose) I have Modelcollects 1/72 T-72A, and I look forward to building it as I don't usually work in 1/72. Just hope it looks half as good as yours xP
Keep up the good work!
Thanks
Nice video! I've been curious about Modelcollect's 1/72 line. It's great to see your approach
Thanks. Modelcollect has very nice and interesting kits, so it was not last model.
Sergio Solo hey sergio solo, nice to see you here. keep going with your building videos
PLASMO - plastic models Do you know already the next kit your gonna make a video of.?
Hey, Michael! Stay tuned this Sunday ;)
Its awesome to see you here also Sergio Solo. 😊
One of the reasons I like to assemble model kits (no matter I really suck) is the part in which one has to investigate the history of the model at hand. With this video you totally demonstrated that. I'm finding your videos to be the most awesome in the scale modeling area, congratulations!!!
This is a pretty neat idea for a model
A tank that could have been
It would be interesting and cool to see you do a kitbashing-project something totally uniq.
Excellent video, I have some of modelcollect's other kits, they are very well engieered.
Does the pigment fixer leave the pigment looking dusty dry after it dries out? Or do you lose that effect? Kind of hard to tell if the video.
the pigment fixer is isoprpanol alcohol and dries matte.
Fantastic level of detail once again. Great work and video David 👍
Oh... you have fantastic taste in music!!!
Its a good day when plasmo uploads
Nice! A new video! You sir have a legendary level of model craftsmanship!
Thanks again!
I......I wish i had the skills you do....Im happy if i can even get the damn model together without losing some tiny piece in the carpet of life...
"The carpet of life". That is so my life in a nutshell. If anyone ever runs a vacuum over it, the things they will find!
i like your weathering technic bro... awesome job...
Brilliant rust effects
I didn't expect that it will be so difficult.
Brilliant everything effects to be honest!
I don't mean to flatter you, but you are truly a modeling genius!!! the amount of care that goes into each of our builds is so exemplary.
Nice work as usual! Like you're wheatering very much!
Dat rust!!! love wethering! using same methods in texturing 3d models :) Nothing shouldn't be clean
W🧿W!! That plastic *really* looks rusty ~ just amazing.
That's a really neat trick with the pencil and that silver/steel powder looks great. The handpainted German cross on the side looks perfect, better than any decal.
It looks like there's wizardry or alchemy going on here, your weathering is always incredible but I think this is the best I've seen ~ exceptional.
Cheers for now,
Dougie.
loved the history at the start and as always such a great model, nice work david.
Good job!
Really nice model.
Please do more experimental stuff like in this video, the Soviet "object-xx" vehicles for example. Keep up the great work :D
Respekt! Opravdu krásná práce! Hodně štěstí do dalších projektů!
Awesome vid and great work , its so nice from you that you put the source of the song in the description but nor me neither shazam didnt managed to find the exact name of the song ( I am talking about the one in the end of the video) If somebody can help me please let me know the name of the song many thanks.
You are nearly the first model channel to hit 100000 subscribers and will get the bronze play button! Great work on your channel, keep it up!
Got the same kit, it arrived with no decals nor photoetched parts.
Can't wait to see you tackle Rheintochter auf E100 :)
Yes! Thank you so much!
I quite like this recurring theme of German ‘what-if’ on the channel. Keep it up 👍
Went right out and bought this!!! Absolute inspiration. Thank you
Продолжай! У тебя хорошо получается.
I want to see a Gustav cannon from you now. I've only seen a couple kits for them around.
Nice music from Alrota, and you are Czech, am i right?
I love your video's! They have the perfect balance of explanation, Instruction and construction! The little bits of history behind the models are very interesting as well. Great stuff!
What a great idea to use an ordinary pencil to get your chipping!!! I will note that for further use on my model kits!! Such a great idea and it looks great to!!
Rob's Hobbys agree +1
that 53 dislikes comes from russia XD
Why?/Почему?
U dumb? Ye, blame Russians whatnot
nahui, that must be from americanski spy
No, we like plasmo too
krásné video, zase skvělá inspirace ... prosím tě jaké používáš ty kleštičky na velké díly ? vypadají dost schopně, díky
The Flak-Bunker in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg is located in a residential area. Its size is very impressive. In 2013 it was converted into an "Energie-Bunker" with solar pattern and a café on its rooftop. Inside the Bunker you can get a good impression of the massive dimension of the concrete structure.
But back to topic, nice build as alwasy and please keep up in this scale!
Dude love your videos keep em coming. Im hooked!!
Where you bought this model? AA tank is top. Please, make diorama with it.
A pencil... revolutionary weathering techniques right there
I really loved the video! It was very interesting to know the history of the vehicle prior to the build. I really wish you could add short clips of the history for all the models you are making. It makes the video so much more fun and informative. You are truly an artist in the way that you delicately perfect the model. Keep it up David!
Absolutely amazing, thanks to you i got into modeling.. Never had the patience before, but seeing the results you get.. Damn :)
amazing model but i don't like the chassis has too much rust on it. It look like a scarp tank and non-combat capable.
very cool!
Absolutely amazing build, Im actually stunned Great work!!
That was amazing. Well done. I love watching veteran modelers. It helps me pick up tips and tricks of the trade.
Great video...Love how it turned out with the weathered hull, giving it that rusted look...looking forward to the next build
PLASMO CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE RECORD 100K!!!!!! 😲😲😲😎😎😎
You keep lifting that bar David.absolutely love all your videos. Thank you for doing what you do.
2 of 3 flaktowers are still standing in Hamburg, but both are still used, but in an other role
podrias hacer algo como de mad max
Great video David. I can only imagine how large this would be in 1/35th scale. BTW my first novel has been published and is on Kindle. Please spread the word. Thank you for posting this awesome kit.
Hello! Do you put and product like Humbrol clear or floor things like Future to finish a model or you leave them as they are?
Btw. I really like your channel. Keep the good work!
I used super clear III. It is lacquer varnish. Future is in my country unavailable and must not be imported.
That is the most impressive AA system I have ever seen . Wow ! Wales UK.
Very nice video.....one question....For the resumptions video when you climb on and paint the model, which cam you use? Many thanks.....!!!
Do you thin your washes or do you just use it straight from the bottle?
I am not sure what this is, but I love it! Keep up the great work. Ps, do you think you could build an s3 Viking?
I do not know either. :-D s3 Viking? I do not have this model on my a list so far.
PLASMO - plastic models So if you are asking what an s3 is, it is an American twin engined jet powered naval aircraft used mainly for anti sub missions, I think it was retired last year and one model given to NASA. If you weren't asking, I would love if you would consider building one in the future.
Great Work, i really like the modelcollect kits, and the beast you created is fan fucking tastic
Do you use a matte varnish after weathering to seal the model?
Great Job, great model. Please do the German E-75 with full interior in the same scale :)
This man is under rated
Aaaaand you did it. You have 100k subs.
Btw amazing work!
I like this video
W.o.T: *Plays with the idea of introducing Twin barreled tanks to their game.*
*W.o.T Devs sees this.*
Hey Ivan?
Dah, What is it?
We should make this a premium tier X tank for 1000 bucks!
Dah! Is good idea!!!
PC Players: *WT Auf E-100 PTSD INTENSIFIES*
I feel like im repeating myself..... another wicked build!!! Nice work!!
You can say some criticism if you want. :-D However, I am glad you like it.
What brand of side cutters are you using to cut away the parts from the sprue? They look much more precise than what I'm currently using.
amazing all your techniques! Thanks for sharing
Me as a German: *furiously takes notes of inspiration.*
"Yes, yes. This will become usefull for this time around. I can't wait."
fantastic building !!!!! Greetings from Poland
4b and 9b pencils can give a great base for metal parts when layered for small engine parts before a brown \ orange light wash.leaving a humbrol aluminium enamel lidless for two years makes a nice metallic paste,i found out.outstanding work for scale, especially with the largesse of the chassis devoid of real detail. You changed that completely.I ordered my 0.2 brass sheet after your nashorn vid.Have done tiger skirts shrouds turret box and front fenders with 1mm brass. Thanks for push out of comfort zone.
Please, my lord, could you make a Space exploration related model ? Like idk, a Soyouz rocket, or a probe, or a Martian rover ? I'm dying to see what you could do with this =)
Just finished watching "Fury"..for the second time..loved the movie..and was wondering if they are going to make a model of that tank..and i hope they do..and i would like to see you build that tank..great videos..you are a master builder..you bring these models to life...
David there is a flak tower still in Berlin next to Gessunbrunnen S-bahn (subway) station that can be visited in some months of the year. It was not open when I was there but you can go and climb it. And for the model: speachless
The model looks amazing! Just curious, what made you want to make the tank rusted and the guns look newer?
Probably because in real life, if this tank was built, the guns might have to be replaced again and again to strain maybe? I don’t really know, that was just a guess.
He sorta explains it in the video: The scenario is that this tank was built near the end of the war from rusty stock-material. There was no time to grind the rust off or paint the chassis (notice that the welds are fresh and shiny). Meanwhile the gun was taken from elsewhere and installed on the chassis.
I don't understand. What's the point of equipping a highly armored chassis with a vulnerable opentop weapon system? Wouldn't it be easy to entirely disable its offensive power and render the vehicle useless?
My dad use to build tanks and ships like you have done. I've also have build modles to but I stick to building cars. I have seen all your model cars and I just want to give you a suggestions for a next car buil if you could build the Lexus LFA
The voice commentaries are the best videos you make, keep it up dude.
There is still a flak tower in Berlin. It's the flak tower Humboldthain...
You also can visit it. 😉
You basically gave Gaijin/Warthunder a free premium! You fool!
[B17 Casually flies over head]
Uber FlaK Gewehr with two Artillery Cannons: Nein.
Excellent video & job building your Modelcollect FlaK 40 Zwilling auf E-100 too!
Another model for 'to buy' list
This model is the practical epitome of Juxtaposition...
And I like that.
You should try making one of the flak towers as a diorama, maybe for when you hit one of your sub goals... Either way, keep up the good work
2 things I would of done differently or add, the shell trays, the casings are made of brass, there would of been transference of brass to the trays, so a brass wash, and the elevation gears, typically they would have a ton of grease on them
honestly my first tank kit was a cheapo KV-2 that was so bad I had to file some parts down to fit, others I had to use gap filler, and the tracks were just plain too small
What's up with your tamiya paints? The ones I have are never that thicc.
I have visited one of the flak towers in Vienna which has been converted into a sea life centre. Yet again another superb video from yourself sir.Damn, I've just noticed this is 1:72!!! I thought it was 1:35th its that detailed and good!
God. They planned to use the e100 hull for everything. Flak, heavy tank destroyer, heavy, a different flak gun, god
Really like your decision to make it rusted. Good contrast and color
Very nice! Even thought about making modern commercial planes?
Every German Operator that manned that thing probably hoped they had their Tetanus shot before hopping in.
No words to explain.... Like u say in previous videos, it looks real but just small. Nice job on
