Is it upscaling? I don't underastand how it could be 4K while it doesn't have pixel shifting and the native resolution is 1080? If it says 4K compatible then it is not 4K.
@@DrAlmurshidy it’s pixel shifting.and it’s a fake for 4k.it’s still very clear and you wouldn’t really se the difference.I have a native 4k and unless they are side by side you can’t see the difference.
@@DrAlmurshidy I have this projector.I stop using it because I downgraded to a ultra short throw projector and all I can say is the 4k image is on par with a 4k image.when switching to 1080p the difference is extremely noticeably.whatever tech is being used is working extremely great.I can say for sure no complaints on picture image quality.1080 does not look even close to the 4k display on this projector.specially with hdr.
My friend, I would suggest you get properly informed about the product before you try to review it. It's not true 4k. It would still display the picture in 1080p despite the signal being 4k. Thumbs down for that.
It outputs near 4k with pixel shift.you can see a massive difference in picture quality when it's in 4k mode.i have 135 inch screen and everyone that sees it thinks it's 4k because of how sharp it can get.
@@litobirdy it will be 4k.you won’t be able to tell the difference.it’s pixel shifting.you will however see a huge difference from 1080p and switching it to 4k uhd.unless you have another true 4k projector right next to it to compare you will NOT be able to tell it’s not true 4k.
@@osukais1 I have a 65" 4k tv upstairs. and i have the gt1080 in basement. Been thinking if its worth upgrading to gt1080hdr or the "newer"? gt1080hdrx for ps5 gaming purposes
I own this projector.its 120hz at 1080p not 4k.its only 4k at 60hz.however this is still one heck of a projector.recommended 100%.

@@osukais1 I am sorry this is not accurate. It doesn't have pixel shifting. It is compatible with 4K input but it will downscale to 1080.

Very Cool projector !!!!
Anyone have calibration setting for this projector? My picture seems pretty washed out.
It’s washed out if you have hdr on auto on your console.it will apply hdr to sdr and look very wash out.
built in speaker!!1 nice
Whats the price
GT1080HDR has decided to not work after sitting in storage for 1 year.. hardly used prior
This one failed me after 1 year of use, not even 4k hours =(

better than Epson !!!
It can take a 4K input signal, but can only output 1080p. Don't buy this thinking it outputs 4K.

@@osukais1 so if i connected my ps5 into the 4k hdmi input, it wont be displaying 4k out? it will display like a fake 2k output?
