@@sullykls1 They all lived around Stourbridge in the 1970's where I grew up. We would see them in the pubs from time to time. Later Robert Plant was a client of mine for a while. Really nice guy, not at all full of himself.
Yes! You can hear it when JPJ’s hooked to the piano. Gosh Bonzo could play by ear. I was nearly 11 when he passed but my Father and brothers were right into them. I have moments of melancholy and I’m 52 now.
The cohesiveness of this band is unparalleled, the vocals of Plant , the guitar of Paige and the melodic percussion of Bonham. There will be none that compare to this band
That's weird! The Led Zeppelin that I know and love, the Led Zeppelin that is playing in this video, was made up of FOUR men - Page, Plant, Bonham and JOHN PAUL JONES. I think you're talking about another band 😳
@@matthewphelps5136 Have you noticed that many use Jimmy's image to talk about Zeppelin? Okay, I love Jimmy, he formed the band, he was the brains of Zep but…Zep were four extremely talented men and in the videos we almost never see Jonesy. I get frustrated
I didn't realize that Jimmy Page was as tall as he is (5 ft 10 in) and Robert Plant being (6 ft 1 in) when I met them in (separately) 1988 at Atlantic Records in NYC. I was working in the music industry and my friend was the publicity director at Atlantic. They happen to be in town for some business. Now people have said that they have their own label Swan Song and yes they do but Swan Song needs to have a distributor and of course Atlantic being the label who originally signed them was used. Atlantic Records Distribution. All record labels have them and I was working for MCA RECORDS which eventually became Universal Music Group. Great guys who Rocked the World Over and Over Again !
Sux I wasn't born a few decades earlier. LZ were at their peak when I was in primary school. Never had a chance to witness my guitar idol in person but I'm sure grateful for video. Thanks for posting.
CASH MIR IS A GREAT SONG SUNG BY ROBERT PLANT JIMMY PAGE PLAYS THE ELECTRIC GUITAR AND JOHN PAUL JONES PLAYS THE BASS GUITAR AND KEYBOARDS AND THE LATE GREAT JOHN HENRY BONHAM DIED FROM ALCOHOL ABUSE IN 1980 AND HE WAS THE GREATEST DRUMMER WHO EVER LIVED 😔
In as much a similar way George Harrison was considered the quiet Beatle, John Paul Jones was the quiet member of Led Zeppelin, and I mostly believe he may have preferred it that way. Though not being included in any tours with just Plant and Page definitely grated on him a bit, as evident in his deservingly snarky comment that they remembered his phone number for I believe the Rock and Roll hall of fame induction.
Sorry but 2:58 for me is what set this performance light years away from any other live performance of this. Even the other night did not hit the mark. This was the climax version.
@@BradyIsAfagInHeat Your right sorta...its not always about being complicated...The genius of this song is in the tunning and arrangement! Inventive especially for rock and roll and at that time.. guitarist know for speed and great riffs shows that there's so much more than meets the eye...Not to mention, the entire band is really contributing. You write one....
Probably was, Jimmy Page was huge into the Occult and Aleister Crowley, so much so that he bought Crowley’s home after he died. I can only imagine the satanic rituals that when on there. 💀😳. You know some of his songs had to have been influenced heavily by demons. Hearing him play in the afterlife will not be heard in heaven I bet, but will require a ticket to hell. 🥵 glad I will not be hearing him play in the afterlife... I will be getting my PRAISE on with Jesus!!! Whooop whoooop!!
The "music" today cannot compete with this awesome masterpiece.
they can't compete with the first album in 1969
Clearly has never heard the Macarena...
Don't overlook the multi-talented and gifted JPJ
Definitely not man is a legend among the rest of the band. Zeppelin would not be zeppelin without every single one of them. Greatest band of all time

No one does!
The keyboards all-throughout this whole performance are quite tasty, indeed.
This should have 1 million plus likes ... one of the greatest of all time
My biggest regret was being born in the wrong decade not having witnessed the Epic Greatness of Led Zeppelin Live in concert!!🙌♥️🤦♀️🥰
Same, I'd give my leg to see them live, and my arm for Floyd
Jimmy was heavily into drugs as witnessed by his excessive sweating but he was still on point but look how frail he was
I am so with you
I was fortunate to see them in 70...right around the time they released their 3rd album. I was 17. Great concert!!
No worries just come back a ghost and tour all the past shows.lol in real time.
The smile on jimmys face when bonzo comes in and it’s perfect is priceless

Every note john hits in pocket with perfect accuracy! 😂
Best band by far too ever hit the great planet))!!!!
Favorite song ❤️✌️😀 ! Thank you.
@Susan Mine too.
I don't think that there is anything else that can be said about the greatest band ever. Even now, every comment here, including my own, is redundant.

You missed the glue that held it all together and I don't mean Peter Grant
Why not John Paul Jones 🤔?

One of my favorite live video performances. Peak Power.

Led Zeppelin songs-songs for all times
O maior quarteto de todos os tempos
Keith Richards "Led Zeppelin never really took off for me, it was all a bit heavy handed" - Looks like they soared too high for you to see mate!
Omg this is so beautiful it gives me goosebumps 😍
Watch ‘Achilles Last Stand’ and ‘No Quarter’ at the same concert.
Absolute genius! How can you be completely off your nut and still be capable of making an electric guitar sound like a Sitar!!!!!!
Page dances across the stage on Jon's triplets on the kick. No way that's rehearsed. Magic. ❤❤❤
Thanks for posting this great and epic concert!
I bought that model of Danelectro guitar just because of this video.Page is mega!!!

GREATEST Rock Tune EVER!!!!!
Já assisti muitas vezes! E sempre me pergunto se essa virada que eles fizeram é humana, do nada o Jimmy começa o riff e bonzo começa na batera

I'm so glad Jimmy kicked the heroin and continued on. He , Jerry Garcia and David Gilmour are the reasons why I started playing guitar.

Very Good, but Jimmy's guitar is not heavy enough. Gibson Les Paul, or PRS sounds more heavy, which sounds much better.
