I am a Packers fan who also roots for the Lions. When I was little I decided to be a fan of the team that I saw win on every Thanksgiving, but the Lions are my hometown team and that will never change and I will always hope for the best.
I grew up in Wisconsin. So of course I'm a life long Packers fan. Then lived in San Diego for 29 years. I was a big Chargers fan when they were in San Diego. Go figure.
My friend growing up was a Vikings fan and a chargers fan in Alaska, I’d ask him why he wants that pain? He said he couldn’t control how he feels, he then pointed out that I’m a cowboys fan and they are trash. This was 2001 so I could respond back then that they have 3 titles in the last 10 years so it’s not painful, now I know his pain.
Pat, WTH? You can be a fan of both teams, especially as they are in difference conferences. I am a fan of both the Cowboys and the Colts. The only relevant question for Marianne Do is "who do you root for if/when they play each other?" For me, it would be the Cowboys over the Colts unless the Cowboys are out of contention and the Colts needed the win to make the playoffs.
I grew up in Denver I'm a Broncos fan forever, then I moved to Illinois. My wife didn't like football until we started dating. She became an Eagles fan last season. Now my newborn is wearing Kelce & Hurts onesies. We have zero connection to Philly. Rooting for two teams is entirely normal IMO.
She said , " I have been a chargers fan for 20s since I moved here to LA". chargers moved to LA only a few years ago. And what middle class house wife has that many pro helmets . That does seem staged
I've been a Falcons fan for my entire life, but some of my bestfriends are Chargers fans. It works perfectly, we watch ball together, falcons always play at one, Chargers always play at four and we rarely play each other. I kinda became a Chargers fan as well over the years...not a super fan, but for my friends' sake I like seeing them do well.

I am a vikings and colts fan. My mom is from Indiana and I have family that lives there still. I was born and raised in Minnesota so I root for the vikings as well. My mom watches both vikings and colts games. I grew up a detroit red wings and Minnesota wild fan. Red wings were the first team I ever watched for an nhl game when I was 7 years old and they won the cup. I became a fan of them because of their goalie I thought was so cool watching him play. Since I am Minnesota born and raised I am a wild fan of course as well. I attended my first wild game at like 8 years old. I wear a wild jersey/red wings hat or red wings jersey/wild hat to every game when they play against each other and I celebrate every time each team scores. It's more fun that way. I never walk away from a game angry that one team lost and the other won.
its a real shame that in today's society we can't just have someone cheering for their team passionately without people on the internet (which will be the death of society) showing their ass with all the negativity and conspiracy theories smdh. i know a lot of people who cheer for two teams, i don't understand it myself, but its not abnormal
Maybe the internet does not give a crap about crappy teams and their weird "fans" so they make fun of it. I can't think of an nfl story that deserves less time. Lets talk about the piss poor officiating this year. Why do offensive tackles get a bad start now on the snap? Why the BS roughing the passer calls?
She said she's also a super fan of her husband and her kids. She's amazing. People just can't handle how awesome she is and feel guilty they don't cheer for the things they care about in life like she does. We all could use some of her passion! She apparently has more than enough for two teams... shocker. Go girl!
Guess who's at the Chargers-Chiefs game today with her son? And if she wasn't getting paid before, she is now. Not by the Charger's PR department, though. Telling by her hat she nabbed herself a bag from the good folks at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Even if this ended up being true, I think a lot of football fans have both an NFC and Afc team they root for. Im a huge Rams fan but now I am rooting for the Texans as well because CJ Stroud is from my hometown, and a psuedo-raiders fan since 90% of my friends and family are. Now rooting for same conference teams? yeah thats a no-go
Why is there two different stories about how she was in the Viking face paint situation?? Is she from Minnesota and her kid plays on the little league Vikings in LA?

The camera caught her and that's that.
She regularly goes to the games and has been on the Jumbotron several times, so people at the games irl would see her and she became a bit of a known ‘mascot’ at the home games. Makes sense, at any sporting event, if there’s someone sticking out that’s having fun, has a cool costume, whatever, the camera will go to them more than just people staring straight ahead.
@@brookeb452 With all that, from what I can tell, she never got national camera time so NFL viewers didn't know who she is because there was no national attention. Sports podcasters on the national stage had never heard of her so that's why I made the meme comment. Local Chargers fans may know of her at the games but the NFL did not. And to be noticed on MNF, that's a different story. It's analogous to being known in a small paper to going to the front of a big circulation the Times or The Post.

Y’all calling him a Bandwagon for cheering for the Panthers or Eagles? Because as a Panther fan, there is nothing to bandwagon for the next 3-4 years
You have to a real big masochist to be a fan of both the Chargers and Vikings. Those two franchise deliver pain and agony on a consistent bases.
Watching the game it was just kinda weird how many times they panned to her. I thought she was some celebrity or something. Idk about being a plant but I like the idea that the chargers need to pay people to be fans 😂
She kind of is at Chargers games. She's always shown on the big screen there just not on TV.
that’s a fair thought but also if it’s hard for them to find passionate fans when they find one it makes sense they’d pan to her over and over
Wish they would pay all of us, this is torture
I was worried bc I knew how many ppl were gonna creep on her
Rather watch her over Swift ..vomit
When you are at a game, its much more fun to support the home team. So if she moved from Minnesota to LA, then I dont see the problem.
Also, those guy like PFT and that other one, really need to be careful about their accusations based on assumptions.
yeah eventually its 100p normal to start cheering for the team in the city you live in if its a longterm situation
She also def seems like an actress lol
@@Rowsy91 Maybe thats why she moved to LA. I could definitely see her in some comedy show.
I’m a diehard Colorado sports fan (all teams) despite not being from there. Moved to Dallas in 2019 and have also rooted for the Stars, Mavs and even sometimes the Rangers. Refuse to ever root for the Cowboys. But it’s so fun to root for the hometown team otherwise.
@@tqllahe husband moved there.... if she is a single mom I DOUBT that anyone in min can afford to have 4 kids and oy one person making money.
But I LA yea.
As a Vikings fan I have to say I root for every team that plays the cowboys.
And that is why the Cowboys are America's Team. 5 more Super Bowls than the Vikings, btw.
😂😂😂
@@marksmith8210as a Steelers fan, I have to say I root for every team that plays the cowboys
@@marksmith8210Hey its "Their year" this year too. Just like the last 20 😂
Go Cowboys.
In Connor we trust 🇺🇸
In MAGATS he trusts 🇺🇸 💀
@@j.p.gonzalez9218America
I live in FL where it's mostly relocated people that love where they're from so much they left it, and many of them do support the local teams and still have a thing for the teams from the city they hated to live but love so much. It is what it is.
As a Broncos fan who hates the chargers people just need to relax with this stuff. Even if she was a Vikings fan who cares, I’ve know people who have had an afc team and a nfc team.
Those people aren't football fans lol.
@@ChaseFlores-r2y according to what standards? yours? who cares what you think?
That press conference from Connor had me dying😂😂
The Vikings are in another conference. It would be a different story if she was a fan of a division rival.
Im a bears fan and a chargers fan so haha.
@@GleasonRyan I'm a Steelers fan and owned a couple Mike Vick Jersey's when I was younger.
I am a Packers fan who also roots for the Lions. When I was little I decided to be a fan of the team that I saw win on every Thanksgiving, but the Lions are my hometown team and that will never change and I will always hope for the best.
Love this show. You boys are top tier
Pat, you literally have both a Colts and a Steelers helmet on your desk.
obviously. doesn't change the fact he has 2 favorite teams, which is totally acceptable @anthonywoodbury89
He's from Pennsylvania
I grew up in Wisconsin. So of course I'm a life long Packers fan. Then lived in San Diego for 29 years. I was a big Chargers fan when they were in San Diego. Go figure.
My friend growing up was a Vikings fan and a chargers fan in Alaska, I’d ask him why he wants that pain? He said he couldn’t control how he feels, he then pointed out that I’m a cowboys fan and they are trash. This was 2001 so I could respond back then that they have 3 titles in the last 10 years so it’s not painful, now I know his pain.
i love this show and the people who help make this as amazing as it is
She did say very clearly on your show yesterday that she is a huge chargers fan and an even bigger NFL fan.
this was live on ESPN 😂😂 tooooo good
This is up there as my favorite moment on the show this year. Hilarious.
As a Bengals 49ers fan its not weird
The CREW, keeping it REAL!!💪🙏
ESPN doesn't deserve you. Be wary of strangers bearing gifts. 😢
I root for the Raiders but I pull for teams with good storylines and people. Go Lions!
This is the greatest sports show of all time
She said , " I have been a chargers fan for 20s since I moved here to LA". chargers moved to LA only a few years ago.
Danggggg.... The show is raking in the money!!! Flew Connor from the East Coast to Indy in one of those new Area 51 space alien planes, in less than 2 minutes! What a time to be alive!
Using this to say THE POD IS THE FUNNIEST SHOW ON RUclips…
Also that lady is still awesome even if she is a plant
Nah just a tik tok cnt desperate for attention
This might be your best ESPN episode ever
Absolute gold! You boys are doing the lords work.
I’ve heard her son plays football and his team is the Vikings and that’s y she wears that Viking jersey. It’s not necessarily for the nfl team but her child’s football team.
Connors speech with a capitalish backdrop was epic 😂😂
It’s not illegal to cheer for two teams lol
Wrong. Looks like we'll need to send you to jail too
Stuff like this segment is what makes this show so great😂.
its a real shame that in today's society we can't just have someone cheering for their team passionately without people on the internet (which will be the death of society) showing their ass with all the negativity and conspiracy theories smdh. i know a lot of people who cheer for two teams, i don't understand it myself, but its not abnormal
It’s something positive so people have to try and tear it down
Maybe the internet does not give a crap about crappy teams and their weird "fans" so they make fun of it. I can't think of an nfl story that deserves less time. Lets talk about the piss poor officiating this year. Why do offensive tackles get a bad start now on the snap? Why the BS roughing the passer calls?
Boston Connor 4 Prez 2024 😂😂 This segment was great and the background giggles and snickering killed me 😂
Boston Connor being the spokesman of defense is wild in its own right
She said she's also a super fan of her husband and her kids. She's amazing. People just can't handle how awesome she is and feel guilty they don't cheer for the things they care about in life like she does. We all could use some of her passion! She apparently has more than enough for two teams... shocker. Go girl!
So she's married with kids, wonder where they were? She just goes to NFL games alone? Just wondering,
@@jeffsummers1894 if you watch Pat's interview with her, she goes to the games with her husband.
She will not divorce her husband for you. Stop trying
Lol, good one, but still doesn't answer the obvious question
Let's hammer dahn a thumbs up for Connor!
Connor's final two points had me rolling 😂
Guess who's at the Chargers-Chiefs game today with her son?
And if she wasn't getting paid before, she is now. Not by the Charger's PR department, though. Telling by her hat she nabbed herself a bag from the good folks at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Even if this ended up being true, I think a lot of football fans have both an NFC and Afc team they root for. Im a huge Rams fan but now I am rooting for the Texans as well because CJ Stroud is from my hometown, and a psuedo-raiders fan since 90% of my friends and family are. Now rooting for same conference teams? yeah thats a no-go
Agreed. I'm a die hard Eagles fan but I cheer for the Steelers as I grew up in the seventies with all the hall of famers.
On Pat's show she repeatedly stated she's a fan of the Chargers AND FOOTBALL IN GENERAL.
"Depending on what news articles I saw that day, the plandemic." 😂😂😂😂
Why is there two different stories about how she was in the Viking face paint situation?? Is she from Minnesota and her kid plays on the little league Vikings in LA?
Exactly and when I explained this to someone Ona different comment it was deleted 3 times . Then when you see the pic on twitter she’s dressed like that a rams Vikings game not her sons youth football game.
Super-fan Plant by the NFL just takes conspiracy theory’s to the next level 😂😂😂😂
"Her sweet little asian boy..." Alright relax, Connor 😂
To be fair, I also have a second favorite team
Same here. The Browns
ESPN, really be putting their twist on the show
I watched the warriors win 4 championships and never showed this amount of emotion
should've
Nobody does. It's overacting at its finest.
Obvious you aint a real fan then
because the only entertaining chip they won was 2022
@@joshuaa1605ehh I gotta be honest. Watching the Packers play football gets me acting crazy. Winning or losing too. Even when I'm alone. Actually especially when I'm alone, no social pressures to have self control. Some people get caught up in the moment and let life get them excited.
Yeah that’s where she’s from originally no problem having two teams.
Her and her husband have been going to the games for the last few years ...he organizes and sells tickets for the cabanas field level...they're cool people
So they are plants. He works to chargers so she has an inside track to bring noticed. Thanks.
but what they didnt cover was that vikings photo, if you look at the top right it says Los Angeles Rams. Def not at her son's game.
I was tripping on how the camera found her in the first place 🤣😂🤣. She was entertaining. As soon as they put her on the screen the first time, I said to myself she will be a meme before the game is over. If she was paid, who cares? If she was a plant, who cares?
Only been watching for a few years, but this is BC's finest work.
Sports Entertainment.
20 year LA Chargers fan…. But they were in San Diego for most of those years…. Did she live in San Diego also??? And little league parents almost 100% of the time buy the little league team merch, I don’t think I’ve seen any parents buy a authentic jersey to support their kids
Seriously. Not to mention people are saying it's because she moved from Minnesota. But then saying oh her kid plays on the Vikings. Which is it?
Born is San Diego, raised in Iowa. First two jerseys were #14 Fouts, then #9 Kramer. Had a birthday cake with Vikings vs Chargers. I like thinking I'm not the only Vikings/Chargers fan.
I was born into a Cowboys family... I've spent most of my life trying to find a justifiable reason to change teams. Good on her for escaping the Vikings.
To the chargers tho?
😂 47 year Cowboys fan and I feel the same. Especially the last 20 years
Fairweather fan promotions?
You’re probably a secret Lions fan as of the off-season this year.
Escaping the Vikings for the Chargers is a wild move 😂
I will never help anyone ever again😂😂😂 choked on my beer lol
That “maybe we are all plants” cut right through me
Great camera work at 8:54. Very dramatic 😂
Nobody willingly would support BOTH those teams that hard. Credit to her for having that level of passion. Its not unusual at all to follow 2 teams, especially 2 in opposite divisions.
Her husband is in a chargers fan group on Facebook that I’m in and he said his wife definitely didn’t plan on this exposure but she grew up in Minnesota as a Viking fan and moved to CA 20 years ago with her husband he converted her ⚡️ let the lady live lol
McAfee has turned into the TMZ of the NFL. curious to see how long it lasts...
McAfee has always talked about drama around the nfl, did you just start watching yesterday?

omg, I love Connor, this guy is awesome. I have no idea whether he actually knows how to pronounce the word controversy or not, but I don't care. It was hilarious. That speech was like a scene from Always Sunny.
Nothing wrong with having an AFC and NFC team, twice as much football to entertain you
Conner I needed that. Thank you for pouring your heart out for the BRAND
This is the classic hometown team vs local team where I currently live. Nothing wrong with supporting both teams
