Man, MLB 14 is shaping up to be a fantastic sports game. Both NBA 2K and MLB: The Show are leading the way, not even the almighty Madden games are the way people want them to be.
Who ever came up with the school thing should get a raise! I hope if you go to a university your player returns with a higher overall rating. P.S. WHERES THE PS4 FOOTAGE?
They finally revamp the advancement period! It was so stupid last year as a starting pitcher I can only give up 5 hits in 4 starts last year despite winning all my games, leading the league in strikes, having a sub 2.00 ERA, but I failed as I gave up 7 hits.
I love the Show but I was never someone who sank 100 hours into it because My Road to the Show progress wouldn't matter a year after but now that you can transfer saves to new titles, I can't wait to fully experience it now.

I'm not even a huge baseball fan but i bought a PS3 to play the show 13. Well all i can say is i was incredibly impressed with the game on so many levels, can't wait to play it on the PS4, day one buy... but the extra wait with the PS4 release date sucks.
I just want an online mode where players can play 10v10 (or 9v9 for national league). Players can join lobbies in progress and be substituted in. This could be used as selecting a real player or your RTTS character. PLEASE San Diego
I know this would be very hard to do, and it could even be a game in it's own, but it would be cool if you could play in the NCAA with some big named schools if you choose to go back to school until the draft. But that seems a bit much when I think about it.
i am happy with the new changes. just want to know if there will be more realistic trades. meaning will i be in a group trade. very rarely are please traded 1 for 1. even more rare are players in the minors traded 1 for 1. also will there be more options if i chose not to sign with a team after i am eligible ? 2013 i was not able to pick my own team after the season started. i had to wait for them to call me…. has that changed?

You guys are totally overthinking the college thing lol. It's just gonna simulate a year to progress your age and then you'll play the showcase again. And you don't play for a college. The teams are the regions.
Because, they were having trouble with the frame rates staying at 60fps. They're working it all out. Have patience. I want this game perfect when it releases. I'd wait until June if I had to.
Finally im gonna get to play as a catcher, it was a grind like no other to do it in 2013. BTW is this ps3 version graphics we are seeing? I really hope so

Felix Reynoso He's actually correct. That's why it was pushed back, because they're having trouble stabilizing the frame rate. Russel said so in an interview. He still says, not to worry. It will be ready come May 6th. Edit, well he didn't say it'd be ready by May 6th, because the interview was prior to the release date comfirmation, but he said it'd be 60fps when it launches.
