I saw them live in Burlington, VT on a short notice show after they left the Six Feet Under tour. They killed it. I watched Dave McGraw warm up for an hour before show. He was practicing by sitting on a small coffee table and hitting the soft parts of a couch. That guy is dedicated to his craft, without question. The guy warms up for an hour before playing for an hour, all at that pace. He is amazing.
@XTXcalVinXTX i saw this band live, and i had never heard of them before, and i was like whatever to see em, by FAR one of these greatest vocalist i have ever heard, crazy skill
I was so focused on their drummer that night hes so fucking good, the triggers were a bit too loud in the mix so the gravity blast weren't very audible, but I could see how fast he had those sticks flying, hella sick!
@doublebassrox Doesn't mean I'm easily impressed, :p It's just a fast speed. I don't see it that often. I checked out the dude, he's pretty damn good too.
yea i don't know why certain drummers dig that but whatever...i think it's a waste of energy to go that high when it could easily be lowered with a more effortless attack. sick drummer tho, obviously. no pun intended, ha.
I have nothing against the bands you guys have recently been posting but when are we going to see more stuff that isn't......so hardcore? Something like Threat Signal or some more Animals as Leaders
True Musicians don’t “Give up” playing drums after seeing this guy play. True Musicians get inspired and what to play better.
Thank you zaodriver for the kind words, btw warming up on a couch or other non bouncing objects are a great surface to warm up, for me at least :-)
yoo how do you get that snare tone at sans party concert
Yo man you invented rim blasting in metal still some of the best sounding rim blast to date.
i really like this angle. this is a sick video of a sick drummer.
So relaxed, fast and controlled! He did NOT disappoint live. :)
that's even faster than on the record, amazing!
Love the use of the high hat.
hes a freaking machine
It's nice to see he's doing double strokes on his feet.
Dude, Travis’s vocals are on point
@kkkeikurono His pedals were floating so bad i can't believe he pulled the show off you can see him looking over at one point pretty pissed off lol.

@Blastrebation Yes they were moving side to side back and forth, like a boat.

holy fucking beast of a drummer...
Hell yes
the splash on the right side is cool :-)
no triggers on the kick? bloody awesome, if so! you never have that these days with the more extreme metals
Is the time signature at the chorus right before the verse 7/4? I counted 7
Aren't they both attached to separate kick drums? What am I missing.
i heard dave mcgraw gets his strength from eating army tanks and fighter jets for breakfast.
Never got why some guys like having their cymbals so high, but to each their own.
Fkn amazing
Sucks we cant see them in Denver tonight, our babysitter is frickin' worthless!
No fuckin' way. I was at the Burlington , VT show too. I was at the front left corner of the stage right in front of Josh, their guitarist.
2:21 - 2:28 OMFG! His right hand! How can someone blast so fast??
@sickdrummerdotcom Pedals were floating? Is that moving?
people who say theres no talent in brutal death/grind,,,are sadly MISTAKEN
@xGeosmithx Correct
@DGenius505
read the uploader comments; his pedals were sliding back and forth so much that a kick cam would not have worked.
ive seen alot of drummer with the same ride.. dose it sound good?
CHILEAN PROUD
almost like watching Flo Mounier play
HE TORE THAT SHIT UP \M/
Bad ass, Inspiration as fuck. perfect gravity rolls. 666 Thumbs up!!
Is he doing doubles on the steady double bass parts?
@PrimalShadow3 15 band 15 stage hands and a cluster f&*^ of confusion
Holy shit! Dave fuckin McGraw! I was expecting an upload of the remaining shit from summer slaughter.
@doublebassrox Doesn't mean I'm easily impressed, :p It's just a fast speed. I don't see it that often. I checked out the dude, he's pretty damn good too.

What's the song in the intro of the video?
awsome ! \m/
I just don't like how he closes it instantly on almost every hit.
@xGeosmithx
Yes it is.
it's funny how some people hear this music and call them talentless. They couldn't be more wrong.
1:21 doing his thing \../,

He likes his Cymbals really high lol
